Hi there, I created a defensive deck (regarding the playstile not the ability) and wanted to share it with you guys. Be warned, this is a very slow deck, but I sometimes like long games. The general idea is, that you establish control on the board and be able to defend against almost anything your opponent throws on you. Just hold him at bay until your power is strong enough to take the win yourself. So, here is the decklist: Income: 5x Fishing Village 5x Dama Rossa 5x Knowledge is Power Agents: 4x Altaiir learned 4x Amerigo Verspucci 5x Piri Reis 4x Sofia Sartor Toolbox and card draw: 4x For the cause 4x Motivational speech 5x Scientific Espionage 5x Bearer of the Mixed tidings Total: 50 cards Some explanations: I put Dama Rossa in to feed Bearer of the Mixed tidings in order to draw as many cards as possible with it. Fishing village serves as income booster and as a protection to nasty site abilities (Byzantine Church, Harbor, etc.). Site influence is shut down by Sofia Sartor anyway. Playstyle: Obviously you play your income boosters first. If possible, try to get your Piri down afterwards asap. You don't want to be countered or surprised by anything. Well and then you just defend. Power up your Amerigos to make them invulnerable to TU and kill his special agents (Threat, official, unblockable) with them. Use Altaiir to kill his normal agents. Use Sofia to deny his sites. In the end take the win with your boosted agents.

Ha, looks like you're trying to prepare for the league! In theory this should work. Hard to say without some playtesting. Seems quite vulnerable against agent rush decks, though. And you could lose to early counters (that is, if you can't get Piri down asap). How does the deck perform?

Maybe you can put in some Quick Study?

Although I like it, this will not be my league deck. The deck performs quite well (80-90% winning rate), at least in the auto match-ups. However it is draw dependant. A bad starting hand can ruin your day. You played already against it felix, I lost that match. Agent rushs are not a big problem, because you can delay them with Dama Rossa if necessary and negate their already scored points with Vespucci afterwards. If I face a pure counter deck and don't get my Piri down, I will only play Altaiirs. Shall he waste his counters on them. I am thinking about putting in some quick studies, the problem is that they would slow down the deck even more. I'll probably test it.
