So like everyone else, you know that Cesare Borgia is THE killer agent. You want to play it but you still want to beat other Cesare decks. Well let's try to achieve that. Here is a pretty straightforward list I call Cesare's Skyzophrenia. I'll let you guess why 5 plentiful crop 5 dante moro 5 by order of the king 3 faux pas 5 forced inheritance 4 magnetic personality 5 court order 5 auxiliary ego 5 preemptive strike 3 Carnevale 5 Cesare Borgia The only goal is to vomit your Cesare Borgias and copy them. The only real trick is magnetic personality. Which does not only give you a huge advantage in Cesare battles, it also shuts down your opponent's sudden exhaustion. Carnevale is there because I needed another "big win condition" It seems better than any other agent in those colors, and I wanted to avoid Royal intervention because it doesn't win alone.

This must be annoying to face. I'm gonna build one.
How do you deal with Lanz?

I faced 2 Lanz decks last night. I just beat'em to death faster and counter what big menace I can. I prefer waiting having a bit more than 10 to drop Cesare to have a counter ready but then with auxiliary ego and counters It just keeps coming while you counter everything big your opponent tries to do

Just a Question, when you play the deck, does it happen that you draw to much ressource boost?
Its very clever constructed, im just not quit sure about Carnival, since you have all surprises cept carnival, I guess enemy has enough counters to get rid of it.

Yeah Carnevale, I just did not find better since I need another one card kill or agent( since it can be copied)
drawing too much resource booster happens but it is very rare since one of the resource booster is also a cesare tutor ;-)

Replaced Carnivale by a few surprises in mine. Good deck, really. Need to beat some Lanz to be 100% convinced now.

Replaced Carnivale by a few surprises in mine. Good deck, really. What did you put in ? I tried some copycat, role reversal, radical demotion. I have not been fully satisfied yet

Tuism gonna love this one I know it Don't got enough Auxiliary Ego or Pre-emptive strike I'd have to make do some other way

Auxiliary Ego being the most difficult to replace. You can replace preemptive by radical demotion and/or marco barbarigo

This deck is a beast. Gg Drazel.
After a few wins, here is my list:
5 Plentiful Crop 5 Forced Inheritance
2 Dante Moro 5 Cesare Borgia 4 Auxiliary Ego
5 By order of the King
3 Tactical Upheaval 5 Tacteless Theatrics 3 Sudden Exhaustion 2 Magnetic Personality
4 Role Reversal
5 Court Orders 3 Preemptive Strikes
I only think discard and bad hand can make it lose regularily. Maybe combos... Everything else is crushed.

This deck is a beast. Gg Drazel. Thx I don't remember losing with this deck yet I'm gonna try to cut the carnevale for tactical upheaval. maybe it's because you don't have them but I would not cut any preemptive strike. This card is just bananas against most decks

Sorry for the double post, I tried it with
-3 carnevale -2 dante moro
+3 tactical upheaval +2 tactless theatrics
Works really fine. Tactical upheaval is situational since you cannot recycle it on your agents but when it finds a target it is a nice add to the deck.
