Just opened a Political Patronage from a mixed pack, that makes 3 total I have now, woohoo

But I did open yet another Carnivale and a media pallazo that I don't care anything about from 2 other mixed packs too... I think I'm going to stick to Assassin packs from now

My general policy is to buy Templar Packs from daily winnings (still want more Lanz and Cesare especially) and to buy Assassin Packs with real money (though I'm a little hesitant to spend any more, at least until I'm confident that there's going to be a long term player base).

Tuism: I sense few hours ago mods at TA forum did some fixes on posts between you and that (d)amn64. This early morning, in fact, I was reading about his incredible complain about you supporting your own Facebook forum (really stupid thing, since he was totally wrong about these infos - he probably never saw anything on FB nor here, I suspect - another annoying troll) and your honest clarifications. I know how mods at TA operate usually, they made some cuts and voilà, thread polished. In case you ever received a warn, I may start to support both you and this forum, placing the same signature you have instead of mine. Certain people need to have mind properly plugged, in order to avoid posting incredibly stupid and useless sentences...
Continue with your enthusiasm and your usual dedication on this way Tuism, me (and I think many other fellow ACR players/fans) I'm with you. Respect!

What actually happened was that I messages a mod myself and declared what I was doing, and that if I was in violation I'll gladly stop and delete my own stuff. So he said while we can post links and use our signatures, we shouldnt do it too much. So when other TA members start pointing fingers and attack the wrong things, I think it's time to stop, its not really about right or wrong, no one wants a forum full of flames.

So i saw what he did was removed mine and a few other people's posts regarding the argument and that's that.

Thanks for your support, this community is for all of us, and for us all to play with some kind of support that will hopefully help the game grow from strength to strength, instead of dying like Firefly (tv series)

Any signature and whatever support will be appreciated by all of us, I'm sure.

Although lets not spam the world keep it in moderation, and be courteous when other people have their own opinions. I believe I have been, except for one or two cases of explosive trolling due to uncontrollable irritation.

So I fought the most boring obnoxious deck. They basically combined every discard from Red with every counter from Blue and just locked me from doing anything. If they added resets then I don't see how I could possibly beat this deck without going Blue myself and loading up on counters.

I think I might just auto-quit against these kinds of deck. I want to have fun when playing this game, not be forced to play a cookie-cutter deck if I don't want to sit around doing nothing.

As if counter everything isn't enough

Was trying to build a pietrl Rossi deck. Testing it online amounted to seeing whether I can beat Lanz or counter counter counters. Did better than I thought, considering.

Yeah, those 2 major categories need to get toned down a tad. I love my counter deck but it's really getting old now.

I was one of the earliest to play such a deck. Then I saw many similar decks the next day. Those playing resets are playing it wrong.

Ancestral Discoveries to bring back counters, esp Pre-empt Strikes + Court Orders, a few win conditions. (Agent - Cesares, Site - Roma, Site - Pan/RI)

Oh, for those interested in this deck - it's also a crude form of 'Poison', use Answered Prayers, DI to remove big threats, use Ancestral Discoveries to bring them to your hand and use it on your opponent.

Ok, my aim is not to incite any more hate, but you are right - just auto-quit if you are not having fun.

I just can't win everyone over. With no offense to anyone, When I played ultra-fast Pan/RI, people complained. When I played Lanz/Dante/Cesare/Discreet Calling/Order of the King, people complained. Then I 'invented' Discard/Control, people complained.

LOL. Then I went on to invent more versions of Discard/Control with different win cons, or different strategies (less counters/more discard, or less discard/more counters, more agent based[Marco/Dante/Mysterious/Cesare], etc, etc)

So yeah, try not to hate me, Just auto-quit. Or play Order.

Edit: Sorry if I sounded if I was ranting. heh heh, I am not. I am kinda restricted cos I only have 2 Forced Charity, 2 Ezio, Assassin and 3 PP, would love to build a Purple/Black but I already spent >$250 but I don't have those cards in 5s.)

Complaints are just a symptom of something else. Imbalances. People will seek out the best combo their collection has.

I hope the balances will be implemented soon, so we see more blindness in deck building than the couple of beacon of lights that are order counter + Cesare, lanzs, pan/ri.

My complaint isn't that it's very hard to best the deck, it's that it's very hard to not be stuck in a match where I can't play anything for several minutes while I slowly lose. Even if I don't care at all about winning it's not fun when I can't play cards at all and have to just wait.

I agree with you.

I'll list the decks that can beat my deck (or any dicard/counter deck) - rush decks.

Site rush (Lair) or noble rush, lanz rush will beat this deck. There's no many things to counter and we won't be able to get out Anc. Discover/Counters lock in fast enough.

Get the lanz out asap.
