Tonight's play has been a little snake bitten. I don't think I've lost any games from play but I had two instant disconnects (losses) right when I saw my initial hand (suckamydong and gongot), had a network sync error against Bronto when I liked my position, and I currently have someone locked down with my mill deck who has been halting the game every second or two for a good 5 minutes (halts it for 10-15 seconds each time - name is kfygl). He finally stopped doing that because I wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of quitting to his tactic. What's up tonight?

I've had several network sync errors. Fortunately, none of the rest of your troubles.

When you say he finally stopped doing that, do you mean he quit cos he was losing, or did you mean after a while it cleared right up and you continued a normal, lag free game?

He finally quit as he had no chance of winning and was trying to get me to quit. This was intentional.

We were so busy by the auction house we nearly forgot about that annoying thing. But this is going to be changed eventually. People who cannot be reached by our server repeatedly will get a "force" defeat after a while, intentionnal or not.

I have had very similar experiences as gamemaestro, where it was clearly intentional.

Will there be a way for the offending player to know whether his connection was judged unworthy or not? Please make it so that the game will tell you you've been disconnected due to your bad connection or something, otherwise I can see a lot of players with less than optimal connections constantly getting defeated by disconnect mysteriously and not understanding why or how.

Yes, of course, and trust me, people with sub optimal connection probably won't be disconnected by that method. For friendly matches, it won't be the same of course.

This actually is still happening post-patch. Manutdl211 has done it three times since. I tried to return the favor but I'm not as good at it as he is.

I don't think they implemented it yet, it sounds like something still to be done. Hopefully soon, given how annoying it is. I can't log into uplay at the moment to even play, but the intentional lag might be worse.

hi, is anyone facing a laggy connection on the versus mode? I have had 3~4 games where the opponent suddenly disconnected, i want to know if it is my fault, and eh.. apologise if it is?
