Dear devs There are several things with the whole targeting system that drives me NUTS! 1) target selection NOT being picked up: Sometimes, launching an action by drag and drop or tap and tap will result in the memory simply not launching. Then you gotta do it again, and you've misse your timing. 2) launching an agent with a target ability can fail like above, in addition it can call up the black overlay, and STILL fail - before OR after you select your target. So, can this be improved? It really gets very infuriating. And the suggestion: can agents that have a targeted ability on launch be launched like a targeted action - by dragging to its target - instead of to the launch area, THEN choosing a target? The existing way can be kept, but that addition would save countess grey hairs. Really. What do you think guys?

i hope "guys" doesnt only mean devs here i totally agree with you. and also id like to add ( already discussed before ) we still want/need/ask for a better way than the selection carusell... even though you got rid of most of the bugs and crashes it causes it is still an annoying system to choose cards... even if you only combine the cards in the carussel like its done in the deckbuilder everyone would be very thankful for that. looking forward for the next changes!

Yeah the carousel is VERY slow in picking anything but the first couple of cards. So I agree! Just one more thought, even agents with targeted abilities can get a drag target - right now dragging an open card makes it close and become a regular drag. If we can drag the ability from the card to a target that would be great

Totally agree with you Tuism, nothing worse than waiting for the exact moment a 5/5 (or a 10/10) agent materializes with a change of plans waiting to drop to prevent him scoring even once, in a tight game, tapping before the agent is launched, and card drops back into your hand and the opponent plays the card and scores (and wins).

In a situation like that it's really 50/50 - cos your opponent is also waiting for his agent to finish resolving to launch him into attack In those cases I'll still try for it but it's really not 100% Cos your opponent is also wanting his 100% chance... Well in a tight game with a competitive opponent, that should be the case. But I'm talking about cards that need to be double launched into a laggy targeting interface that could fail to come up or could fail to respond when you select a target. INFURIATING.

Since I've been playing a lot of bounce cards lately, I totally see what you're talking about, and it is indeed very frustrating! The coolest one I've had was an Ezio Assassin that didn't launch after selecting a target opponents agent, so the Agent could finish his resting period and attack again. I was so annoyed because he now could score again, so I dragged Ezio over the Agent. Then his agent got replaced by Ezio. After Ezio resolved he was already back in the opponents' HQ, but he then jumped back to my HQ. I forgot to look if he scored at all, because I was all distracted by what was going on... It would be nice to see this mechanism fixed soon!

WHAT!?
You replaced your opponent's agent IN campaign with one of yours from your hand???
Are you sure? Dude that's crazy man! Gonna try it sometime, it looks like one stinker of a bug!

One of the devs said they were working on or would soon be working on the different zones and their boundaries. I think the thread had been talking about sites accidentally turning over when you are trying to click on cards in your hand. I wonder if that work will also involve the targeting system.

Yeah that was on one of the old bug threads, I don't think that's part of this problem, but yeah solving both would be great Trust me though, this one is MUCH more irritating and important than that one with sites turning over

Oh, I know how frustrating the targeting system can be at times. I was just wondering if the two problems might be related in some way. Maybe the targeting system does not always work like we want because as we play a card, the zone does not respond properly.
I don't know if the problems are related or not. One just reminded me of the other so I brought it up.
