Dear devs We had a discussion quite a while ago about effects making agents power go below zero. The general consensus among players is: Powers shouldn't be counted below zero, especially since the display shows 0!.E.g.1 If a zero power (for example Dante 0/2) agent gets Bitter Repentance played on it, it remains 0/2. When you play a Militia Training on it, it *should* go to 1/2 - but instead it is still 0/2, which is confusing. E.g.2 Lanz is in play, and has scored several times. It is now 4/4. A La Volpe comes into play on the same side. Lanz becomes 6/4. Then Lanz becomes sudden exhausted. It is now 0/4. Then La Volpe dies. Lanz remains 0/4. If you play Magnetic Personality on it, you expect it to be 3/7, but it will become 1/7, due to it having -2 from La Volpe dying. If it scores, it will still return to 0/5. Confusing! Everyone who agrees that power shouldn't go below 0 please add to this petition Just say "HELL YEAH". If negative is indicated, it would mean that a negative power agent would actually heal the opposing agent in a conflict. No freaking ways

I agree that the minimum should be 0.

If negative is indicated, it would mean that a negative power agent would actually heal the opposing agent in a conflict. No freaking ways I dont think it would mean that, since it doesnt happen that way at the moment and is in negative. (Tuism: Sorry I keep pressing "modify" when I meant to press "quote". No change made!)

I'm with Tuism on this. The hidden negative values are extremely confusing. Notated negative values would only be slightly less confusing (i.e - does an agent with negative power heal an agent blocking it, does an unblocked agent with negative power subtract it's power from your influence in that region).
There are many aspects about this game that are innovative and original. That is part of what I love about it, but these negative values are contrary to every CCG I've ever played which is counterintuitive for anyone with a similar background which only adds to the confusion.

If negative is indicated, it would mean that a negative power agent would actually heal the opposing agent in a conflict. No freaking ways I dont think it would mean that, since it doesnt happen that way at the moment and is in negative. It doesn't mean that right now cos the negative isn't shown. If it IS shown it'll be expected to heal. More clarifications to be made to counter the change. So I say just clamp it at 0, both in display and in real terms. Of course there needs to be a better way to deal with the removal of +2/+0 have effects than to say "-2/-0 to all affected agents". It should actually REMOVE a +2/+0 token from them, like say MtG would do it. Pretty please please devs?

Don't know if it's a bit early to talk about it, but we are testing the idea. It seems good news if you ask it, because except if we see a major issue with it, you'll get what you asked in the next update Any voice against that change?
