With a lot of the problems that's cropped up, it seems that network problems are among the key culprits. But it's incredibly frustrating to just umbrella everything there and really not being able to affect the issue. I propose that ACR needs to somehow give players feedback on their own network quality - so that if people have less than optimal speeds, disconnects, etc, that they at least know what the problem is. So: 1) a ping display with the Ubi servers for myself - either a ping number or better yet good/average/bad connection display. In this way people with shoddy connections don't play on thinking that their stutter is caused by someone else and gets all peeved. 2) a ping display for other players - same applies. This might prejudice people with poor connections, but if you play someone with a bad connection (while yours is fine) you have every right to exit - some people already do anyway. 3) best-route connection for people who are perhaps closer to each other or simply will have a better connection. I've noticed that there are a few people I will never be able to finish a game with, network out of sync usually comes up. They have no problems playing other people, nor do I, so I put it down to me and them = bad combo/network route whatever. We shouldn't have to endure that over and over, right? I think giving feedback on network statuses will go a long long way towards player satisfaction. If you can improve the network code 100 fold then even better, but there are some things that just can't be fixed, so they require players to take it up themselves, and they can't do that without the right knowledge. Thanks for reading

And then we need a simple way of seeing whether the service is up or down or whatever the case may be. There's a playstation network page that did that a while ago. If it can be built into the game, great. Or else a single web page that says "ON" or "OFF" or "HALF WORKING" would be better than what we have now...
I'm a bit sick of sitting clicking on versus mode and seeing unable to connect to uplay or connect to uplay or getting the login dialogue box and then seeing unable to connect to uplay.

I agree! This is an excellent suggestion.

Bump on this one, hello devs, any comments on this? It baffles me why sometimes a game with the same people I've played before on the same connection can be terrible at others normal. We need some kind of indication of ping between people (if this is peer-to-peer) or ping to server, so we can make a call and just quit the game if the connection is bad. Or better yet do best-routing groups and not connect between people who really would take 40 minutes

Yeah I can never finish a game with Raphael and Bronto, always get a Network out of sync error pretty soon, before day 2 most of the time. That's a seperate issue from this, though
