Ok, this deck might sound familiar, but so far I haven't seen exactly this build .
Accel:
5x Plentiful crops
5x Teodor V
5x Knowledge is power
Threats:
5x San Gimignano (IMHO the strongest card in the game ATM, and the first candidate for nerfing)
2x Leonardo
2x Cesare
Control \ draw \ aux:
5x Court orders
3x Preemptive strike
3x Scientific esp.
1x Family Heirloom (sometimes you just need that p-crap =).
5x In depth analysis
2x Daring experiment
4x Amerigo Vespucci
2x Lassitude
1x Venezia (Helps to to deal with art gal. and borgia towers. Also lands deck love this card =).
Most of the time deck behaves just like control deck should -- struggles to survive till the mid / late game, gains control and wins through card advantage. But occasionally you will draw 2 San Gimi (or 1 plus tutor) with accel and surprise your opponent by early double drop FTW ).
To deal with creature rush it has 4 walls (sorry, Amerigo) and 2 mini wraths -- lassitudes. Unless we get a very slow draw and with no answers we should do fine.
Lands deck usually are easy prey. The exchange rate for San Gimignano is about 1-2 site cards + seeking sanctuary. And you still got some power as a change. You don't bother about wrath or Roma, VD since you have lands FTW. And counters if you want to with tough guys.
Problems come with discard decks -- usually they have enough time to wreck your hand badly before you able to produce any threat. Then we pray for Scientific esp. and card advantage. Eventually it can go any either way. Same deal with mirror matchups -- and here early dropped Teddy can decide the outcome later.
