There are some cards that are hardly ever played like High Profile Assassination, Pallazo della Signoria, etc. In this thread I would like to challenge everybody to post decks that not only include these memories, but use them effectively! This time: High Profile Assassination!Obviously, if you come up with a deck that gets only better by taking HPA out or is improved by replacing HPA with something else, it is not using HPA effectively. P.S. Should we - as a community - fail to use these cards effectively I would propose to get them upgraded/changed so they can be used. Attachments:

It's obviously enough a part of Income denial decks in line with Collateral Damage, Corrupted Herald, Brilliant Burglary.
I've seen (and played with) 2 versions - Crime/Media with Political Patronage and Crime/Order with Faux Pax and counters. In current metagame with so many Income boosters these decks are definitely not competitive.

Agreed. there used to be many decks that make the best use of their little income (nicodeck) and win quick. But whether quick or late game decks, many players go for super boosting as a base. This card is just not good enough. If it were killing two targets as the image is it would be awesome

Hey Tuism, I love the idea of making it kill 2 targets +1

In current metagame with so many Income boosters these decks are definitely not competitive. I've build a deck like that as well, and it's not preforming bad at all: 5x PP, 5x Dama Rossa, 5x Clothes Make the Man, 5x Lanz, 5x Magnetic Personality, 5x Brilliant Burglary, 5x Underground Passage, 5x Corrupt Herald, 5x Antonio, and 5x Collateral Damage. The problem with HPA is that if I include it in this deck it will make the deck worse! And I can't think of a better deck to put it in... Income denial only works when you manage to stop your opponent early in the game. And you can't play HPA early enough to use it effectively. And later in the game you have better options (e.g. Controlled Arson) to neutralize an agent.

I've seen 2 or 3 times HPA played on own Dama Rossa to deny 2 more Income points.

I have three of these and have been trying to think of a way to use them. I've thought about making an income boosting/income deprivation deck using monteriggioni so that you can use this and, say, collateral damage to really deprive your opponent of income quickly without fear of them being countered. The problem is that it takes too long to get up and running (since you've got to play monteriggioni and then have it not be countered/destroyed/etc. in time for you to play your big deprivation cards) and you still have to have cards that, you know, actually win you the game. Maybe Juno. I don't have all the cards necessary to do it, but it's an idea I've had on the backburner for quite a while.

You need an insane amount of draw power and ressources early game to setup such a strategy.

That's why I've never gotten around to trying to build the deck. I'd rather work towards building good decks that can compete as opposed to building a deck that would need a lot of things to go right to work the way it's supposed to (and may not even be able to win anyway).
