Hey all, I've updated the old Nicodeck, who was strong at a point in its life, but turned out to become quite weak after the Market came. Right now, it's much more correct and full of interesting synergies. 5 Political Patronage 5 Knowledge has a Price 5 Knowledge is Power 3 Dama Rossa 5 Magnetic Personality 5 Niccolo Machiavelli 5 Nicolaus Copernicus 5 Ezio Auditore da Firenze 5 Ardent Actors 2 Salai 5 Scholar's Den Playbook: Nothing fancy here. Just keep the KHAP in your hand after the first days to feed Machiavelli (don't play 2 KHAP in a game ; don't play KHAP after day 1). Don't be afraid to play the MP just to score. Play the sites mainly on the second region you want, not the one you're already attacking. You can tweak the deck by adding some Pick your Poison or Scientific Espionnage. But don't add too much of them, having them instead of Agents is the reason I removed them in the main list. I hope you'll enjoy it.

Hmmmm! Interesting take on the theme! I had swapped out Art Gallery with Forli in my own version, but it does look like Scholar's Den will work well too and the draw feeds this deck welcomingly (not a real word) I'll try out this one too. I still preferred Dama Rasa even without Art gallery, and I still feel KHAP is a risk over Dama. But yes the speed boost is very welcome. Good job man

I'd also prefer to use Dama Rossa over KHAP... Even worse: I've dug up my old "The Borgias" deck, and updated it to be competitive in the current evironment... One of the changes was to replace Plentiful Crop with Young Farmer WHAAAAHHH! I lost too many games to rush decks, because I played only Cesare and Lucrezia as agents in the deck and had nothing to stall the opponent until they could come out! Now, it's perfect... I guess Dama Rossa could also be a nice blocker to sit out an extra round at the same time as an income booster. Come to think of it. My updated deck should now be called: The Borgias and a Young Farmer

"The Borgias and a Young Farmer (R)" Bronto, do you not find pyp and scientific are clash with Ezio? I found that even though I knew the faction of a lot of cards when I was under pressure I'd often pick a Templar memory by accident. I was still ok with this as it was still better in my hand than the opps.

I'm actually quite satisfied by KHAP. So far, having it didn't end with a loss. Dama rossa is good, but Templar, slow and not really optimised (no Gallery, no Tower, no Cristina...).
@diomedia: I never found myself having this issue so far but that's a good point. I'll have to think about it when I'll play it next!! ^^

Deck list updated again. It's been a week now that I'm mainly playing this one... I think it's by far, since I play ACR, my favorite deck.

Innnteresting, it's like the Over-Rush deck with biggies instead of weenies I always did like Ardent Actor, the +1 he gives is a good bonus.

Decrease of SE is good idea, for now it's very interesting. I'm playing this deck: KHAP is awesome here

Haven't been playing all that much lately, but did go a few on this new updated deck - I found that I keep losing to any site deck with Roma, either they're really popular now or it's just luck. It doesn't seem to be faster then site rushes, especially if they pack a little anti agent. Some of them pack untimely ends and its a massacre this deck Never run out of cards, though.

My version has 5 salai's instead of 5 Ezios, though it's more because ezio is expensive by comparison. Look forward to playing a full version in a few days. Very powerful and fast.

Hey bronto, I haven't played this deck, because I don't have the cards, but what about family heirloom instead of KHAP? If you need to discard, you discard that, or you can use it to draw ezio. Doesn't it provide more functionality than KHAP?

Hey bronto, I haven't played this deck, because I don't have the cards, but what about family heirloom instead of KHAP? If you need to discard, you discard that, or you can use it to draw ezio. Doesn't it provide more functionality than KHAP? The KHAP is used to increase pace, not to get more cards. There is actually a bugger load of card draw in this deck already, it's important to get resource to play those cards quickly. Without KHAP this deck isn't fast enough. I tried to replace with other stuff but I found this deck wants to win before your opponent had enough stating power to buy down everything you play. Hence KHAP.
