look forward to the variant! i find another huge PAIN is against courtesan decks. not because they were ever great, but they all have activation abilities, so when i drop my mario auditore on them, opponents tend to bounce back their paola/claudia/etc. back into their hand via the bug to avoid neutralization. this is actually where i originally got the idea for tactical upheaval to be added into this deck in place of knowledge is power. it's also useful in this deck in that no agent in here is likely to suffer from Upheaval's stat switch as all agents are equal in power/health minus Orsini (who then suddenly becomes a powerhouse at the cost of some defense). of course it is with great pleasure then that i start hoarding all my scientific espionage for femme fatale also, best thing to do with this deck mid game is to focus on getting a Da Vinci out, and continue to bounce him back via Malfatto just as he is hairs away from completing campaigning/battling in a region. that way, you lose no time for Da Vinci to resolve (as he would be resting from campaigning anyway), but gain +2 via yet another card draw. absolutely evil. after playing with this deck for a bit, i am happy to say it does fairly well against most types of decks, and tends to do especially well against both agent and site rush despite the slow start from this deck. most players tend not to stay till the end of the game, as their decks just run out of steam after a certain point. of course occasionally when an opponent gets a perfect starting hand with 3 PP, Ezios, and counters, i am screwed. i actually lost to a site rush deck after beating him the first time and getting into a rematch, he counterpicked a site rush variant of his deck loaded with untimely end. all my solutions were dismantled unfortunately and made me wish i had more giovanni auditore in my deck. i do however want to make a variant of this deck with 5 Cesare to fight against counter decks, but i feel there aren't enough worthwhile come-into-play agent abilities in order at the moment. Maybe something with Dantes, Knight Templars, and Castel Sant Angelo?
