So I just got my first forgotten temple from a Templar pack today. What a cool card!
It's a really enjoyable game to play. If you can get it down, the trickiest bits getting rid of what he has left on the board. After that I can't help but smile when the opponents going through the deck full of draw I left him, draw after draw. if you fancy a change and a bit of fun try it.

That's the key isn't it Getting rid of cards! It's certainly a fun card, I tried hard to build a deck around it but it's so hard balancing being useless and being fast... And being unoffensive lol. Just now someone Templed me and I dropped my Citizen in hand, stole back my Pagan High Priest with a Change of Plans (detailed in the Most Epic Games thread in General), and proceeded to lock his ass He was running quite a high level deck, it was even full of Political Patronage (I have only 2 copies of ) It wasn't easy (many close calls) but it worked out Gonna try build that temple deck again

Mistervader pwned me with his Blue/Green version.
I had the chance of doing a Quick Study so I saw his entire deck. (After the switch of sequence)
There is nothing much card draw and counters inside......
What a way to pwn people! No win conditions! LOL.
There is only 1 forgotten temple in his deck.

It's certainly the only card in the game you don't want to play more than once in your decks.

Arg! LOL. The reason why u MUST only run 1 is that you do not want your opponent to switch his deck back to him!

Arg! LOL. The reason why u MUST only run 1 is that you do not want your opponent to switch his deck back to him! I've been trying out a version of this deck and I have to say I'm seriously thinking about adding another temple. The combo works like 99% of the time, but 1 time my opponent managed to get rid of my temple, which meant an automatic loss. When you switch decks and manage to clear what's left of the board, your opponent will quit 99% of the time. Meaning that you actually CAN have some stuff in there that could be potentialy useful for him. He'll probably never see it. Also, by the time he gets his deck back you should be sufficiently ahead. I'll have to think more on it, but for now the deck is working pretty well. I'd pay money to see my opponent's faces after they start drawing useless crap and useless crap.

I had a few Temples fire off on me, mostly cos I thought they were playing Pan/RI and I was rushing to get some offensive up.
And then I had that same face:
-_____-
Good point on the 2 temples - it's certainly viable.

Same face too!
I think you have the right idea, since I quit right after the exchange. I figured there was nothing in the deck so gracefully conceded... well that's my story anyway and you can't prove otherwise.
