Yop yop,
Tactical Upheaval Cost 2 +1 ressource Surprise Draw a card & Switch Atk and Def on target Agent (can't target casting Agents).
I'd like to read some of your thoughts on this card.
I'd love to add more of it in my decks, but each time, I end up removing them to reduce the size of them. It's one of the rare surprises that gives +1, and this one gives a card in bonus. It's like Knowledge has a price, but quicker and with the potential to kill this Dante Moro or this Amerigo Vespucci that bothers you. I also like swapping stats to win fights, surviving or scoring more points during campaings.
In the end, I'm not sure about it. Looks good, but the lack of target in the early game makes it unreliable as a ressource booster. And you need very specific targets to make it worth the slot in the deck.

I'm the opposite , I can't keep it out when I probably shouldn't include it.
I use it in my thief/media rush deck as more often than not I'm facing nobles. If I get it at the start it's handy for a quick +1 gold boost and card draw and neutralize an agent. Mid to late game it can still be pretty handy for using on an agent your blocking etc.
I only have one copy of forced charity so it puts my mind at rest that I've got some draw if I need it.
Also I havnt used it with a faith deck but I can see some potential there with the agents like Papal Guard 1/5 to 5/1 if needed.

If the deck has plenty of agents that you can use it on without detrimental effect, I think it's fine to add it and go above 50. Cards that replace themselves (or draw more cards) effectively reduce the deck size at the price of gold/time.
If the cards you're replacing them with don't draw cards then adding copies of TU do not increase the effective deck size. Assuming you're fine with cost/time to launch this at your own agent to replace itself when you need it replaced.

I love this card when I draw it, but, as you say I often cut the card for other choices. I will have to reconsider, since all my decks still carry substandard cards.

I think the mindset when playing tactical upheaval is important... I thought "wow! What a versatile card!" at first, because it's a resource booster, a surprise, and a potential creature kill/save whatever. But whenever I draw it I want to keep it for a cool target (Americo, Dante) and waste a boost opportunity. It's a subpar boost or s great kill or a conditional agent assist. But only if you play it. So I say, when you open with it, remember to just spam it. If you run 5, there'll be water if god wills it With great flexibility comes great responsibility (to play the card)

Good point Tuism, I have the same behaviour... i keep it in hand for the perfect moment. I'm like that, I want to optimise my draws... Maybe I should try to spam it instead, to see the effect of this.
