5 Star card. Ander_13 won me with it. (Yesterday? Today?)
Since then I added it to all my blue decks.
Time it well. Sometimes I team it up with Dante to do blocks or simply attack/block.
It's a rare. I was wondering why. Now I know. Late game: 0 cost counterspell. super.

Yeah I'm sure there was a creature like him in MtG. It was killer I only got one. And yeah he's really useful, it's superb mindfuck material.

I dont see why I would pick him over court order though. Court Order > Pre-empt > Marco. In my deck, I have a mix of them, but always 5 CO first. But not always 5 Pre-emp. Some of my decks run Faux Pas, but I prefer Marco. Faux is nearly useless in mid/late game.

Yeah he's a pain to deal with. Got many of them to trade in the AH, feel free to advertise how strong he is. ;p

More updates from me: not verified.
I am torn between Faux pas and Marco. At the end of the today, (more testing tomor), if you are doing a aggro/control deck, play 5 Faux Pas. If you want to win in late game, pure control, (as in REALLY late game), play Marco.
I am assuming you already have 5 court orders and 3/4/5 Pre-empt strikes in your deck.
Some of my decks uses Faux pas while others use Marco. IMO (as of today), it's either 1 or the other. Not both.
If i play marco, I will have 5 x Forced Inher.
I lost some games today due to the uselessness of Faux in late game. top deck 2 in a row. That sucks. My opponent has 2 "Days" of slamming me and I can't do a thing.

I play 3 faux-pas. I need to stop divine interventions or an early ressource booster. Your enemy probably decides if he shall keep his hand based on the ressource boosters he has. Its quit possible he has to keep a gamble hand, where you can screw him badly.
If you need more coutners you could play the 3-cost assassin card counter. With green you can use the draw 2 cards discard 1 to get rid of faux-pas later.

good idea too.
Machiavelli is a very interesting card. Before I joined any forum, I knew this card has a lot of potential when I got it on day 1 of play ACR and buying boosters.
(Can't discard a card if there are no cards to discard in hand)
Then I saw Bronto's deck on touch. Wow.
That cause a burn in my pocket cos after I saw Brontos post I went to buy a hell lot of credits to try to get 5 Ezio, Gold.
LOL. Those were the days....
(Btw, I never got any Ezio. Lol. I only have 1 which I had earlier on)

wanted to bump this thread. i finally just drew my first marco and he seems potentially awesome. i wish so bad for him to be a noble so i can tutor him out, but alas he is not. nevertheless he's topdeck friendly especially as an official. i wish i had at least two though so i can try running him more consistently in a counter deck. marcos + court orders + preemptive strikes just sounds like an absolute lockdown opportunity.

in a counter deck. marcos + court orders + preemptive strikes just sounds like an absolute lockdown opportunity. I have a Deck like that. Before update, it was discard + counter + recurse via ANC.dis. Now, it's insane draw via indepths + counter. Insanely good. Wins via 5/5 order lady, marco and theo. 5 of each. The other cards: all 5 copies. Preemptive st. Court Untimely Indepth Knowledge is pw Order of the king (I use it on theo too, in early game) Forced inher 50 cards.
