I start playing ACR back in May and have been playing market for a couple of weeks since last week prices of most cards drop like crazy and I am wondering if prices are going to drop even further when expansion set release ? Is that the reason all a sudden people are selling their cards ? I overpaid at least 4000+ credits for the cards I bought and unlike Altaem I only able to make very small profits from the market

I've got this strange feeling I've bought a lot of your cards. It's almost like you're running the market interface backwards. Possibly not you, but I've bought a surprising number of cards well under the current buy offer.
I assume the market is currently dropping because everyone is stocking credits for the expansion. Prices should stabilize 1-2 weeks after the expansion comes out. Fool that I am, I've not been stocking up on credits. Instead I tried to get 5 of every card. Nearly succeeded too. I'm pretty much broke these days. ( < 5k in combined offers and sales, compared to the 60k I had at any time a couple of weeks ago )

Are you playing from an iPhone? The market refreshes far more often for us iPad users.

I don't know that it's that more people are selling their cards--I think it's that no one is buying cards. The theory that most people seem to operate by is that if they undercut the lowest current buy offer, someone will buy their cards. When no one is buying, as it is right now (though there have been a few more sales of my cards today than there have been recently), everyone keeps undercutting and we end up with 65-credit plentiful crops (typically around 90-100 credits), 2 to 5-credit crime commons (typically around 10-20 credits), 1800-credit forced charities (typically over 2000 credits), etc. It's gotten to the point where if I pull a rare out of a pack that I already have five of, I just sell it to the highest offer instead of listing it on the buy side. I know that if I try to list it, it's going to get undercut fifteen times and it will never sell. The same is starting to hold true for some uncommons as well. For example, I've sold copies of controlled arson before for 100+ credits. I put one out there a couple of weeks ago at 60 credits and it's been undercut by (at last check) 15 credits.
I think when the expansion comes out and everyone sees all the new cards, the market will pick back up again. When the last major update came out, there was a rash of card-purchasing because the interface got so much better. You've got to have a little patience to ride the ups and downs of the market.

Joyceein? 17 to buy Court Order, seriously? Hint: Buy CO at 30 sell at 50. You can do this 2-5 times every day.

All the cards I sold you recently are from a group of sellers, they appear suddenly and place a price that is usually 10-20 credits lower than the current asking price. I simply buy and resell to you (you happen to be the highest bidders most of the time) right away and make my extra 30-100 credits per day. I am not sure if they are doing this for fun.

Got 1 Target Practice 300 (again someone place a buy now). It's good they are virtual cards not stocks its like a crash across the board in AH I can't believe some cards drop to single digit I wish I buy cards now than 2 weeks ago
