I am really loving the new cards, but the new keywords are on so many of them! All I know is that a few times I was playing through the new campaign, when there were dominant cards and deceptive cards and defender cards all out at the same time I had a REALLY hard time figuring out how thevsituation was resolving. I lost count of the number times i won a game unexpectedly, or lost one, or it kept going.
I am so confused, lol.

The next xx is surprise seem pretty good because also a good income boost. Decks with slower income buildup get outpaced badly.
The all spells but gold cost more im not so sure. I have run some test, and build 2-3 Income structures, that bring u a super pace, without a Political Patronage.
So I will probably not post decklist, but rather skeletons, that let you boom/draw alot. The winning options and answers can be added as ppl like then.
The +1 cost on non-gold is not bothering me so far. If you playing a deck that generates fast income ahead of your enemy, this card doesnt bother you that much.

I really recommend playing the swiper no swiping deck against the campaigns (even though it doesn't necessarily beat all of them). You get to learn to play the cards you don't have yet

It's in the competitive deck thread. It's the Poison-clothes-copycat-SCI ESP-Leo deck

I really recommend playing the swiper no swiping deck against the campaigns (even though it doesn't necessarily beat all of them). You get to learn to play the cards you don't have yet If you just want to get through the campaign without learning the cards much, you can use an ESR deck with Pantheon - just quit if you don't have the right starting hand.

Oh man, losing faith: erase all copies of card in opponent's sequence, hand, archive with same name. I will get my revenge on you yet ESR decks. Yeah, somebody just did this to me and took out all my Sci Esp with Losing Faith. Luckily my deck relied more on Buried Cathedral and he didn't realize it until I had 2 of them down.

I was hoping that there would be enough powerful and interesting cards in this expansion to shake things up... what we actually got is one of the most overall busted, insane sets to ever grace a CCG! It is SO hard to get a handle on what is "good" anymore when you have so many absolutely lethal options. I think the discard/counter/etc hosers were interesting choices by Ubisoft, but I don't think they'll see widespread play unless one deck becomes too dominant (which seems HIGHLY unlikely so far.) Choosing to play narrow archetype answers in a 50-card deck has a large opportunity cost. At the same time, I'm happy for the people that simply can't stand losing to a specific strategy. It's cool that they are getting tools to get their revenge. All that being said, if official tournaments are best-of-3 and they allow for sideboards... What specific cards sent your minds reeling, guys? There's so many to choose from, there's no wrong answer here... I'm currently sporting a huge man-crush on Altair, Learned. So much VALUE!!

Yeah these cards make for a very shifty meta, I feel. As things become popular, their hosers will too, and then it'll all swing back, etc. playing against the single player missions REALLY gets you into the groove of the new decks and their potential power from synergy. However as powerful as they are, I don't feel that they're overpowered - there are many decks of mine that were powerful that I don't see would benefit from new cards - at least not on a "let's swap all the cards out" level. I feel mostly the synergy is contained within the set. But let's see how it plays out, I'm probably speaking too soon I almost was in love with Altair learned until I realized a discard is not the same as neutralized and therefore doesn't work with nico Machiavelli still, yes, VALUE
