Noon! The old timing of surprises was much better! It took more skill and is what made the time elapsing aspect of this game so appealing! Pls bring it back.

I think the time is still lapsing and timing is still important, you just now know you won't lose a card to stupidity in timing, you'll lose it cos you played it wrong or were outsmarted. Even though I've had a few amazing plays where I managed to time a surprise down to the last pixel, I think trying to remember which pixel one should play your surprises is pretty pointless. I'd rather be thinking "is he gonna drop a last second magnetic? If so can anything in my hand counter it in time? Let me get that ready" rather than "shit he played his magnetic, do I have enough pixels left on that card to drop my evasive?"

bring back the old "surprise" system please. I've not played many games; but the new surprise sys is not appealing to me at all. Things are happening so fast; i didn't even know that my memories were 'counterspelled'. I will play some more and feedback. I take my words back; I like the benefits of the new sys. It's more accurate to how the game was intended in the first place. BUT, i wish there was some way to see my cards being 'destroyed'. Can the animation of it being destroyed last longer? All in all, as with many aspects of ACR, this is not a good "first" game for new entrants to tcg; nor for players who are unwilling to devote a lot of time to learning this great game. The strategy level of this game is getting v good. Good job.

Interesting I wonder if that's needed though, practically. Maybe if you're like super hardcore. For now I'm happy with if they fixed the visibility of discard effect and surprise effects to be more visible. At least make them open-able.

One thing I don't like about the new surprises is that you can no longer use a surprise to initiate a surprise counter to, say draw another card.
Maybe this is the only time it is applicable, but if, for example, I was stuck with a sudden exhaustion and a preemptive strike and faced a loss unless I drew something else, I used to play the SE and then drop the PS on it in order to draw something else, usually a site destruction card before the half day mark.
Can't do that anymore.

one thing they really need to fix is what happened. I got a lot of Sudden Exausts done on me and I had no clue because my monsters were being buffed every other card
