as requested of diomedia im going to start a discussion about this card In my opinion "malfatto" is one of the strongest agents and really deserve his rarity-level. currently im running him in my green/black deck. the simple idea is to just infinitely spam "mario aditore" and "giovanni auditore". once the combo is established the enemy cant get any sites or agents on the field since you can also target launching agents. and for the enemy its hard to counter because you can always rescue your agents through malfatto (even himself) i wont post my decklist now because its far from complete and tomorrow hopefully i get the cards i need to finish the deck but this should be a discussion about malfatto anyway. post some ideas on combos if u like or tell me the big disadvantages.

The idea is sound, but i guess it takes a lot of resources to start running continuously, but if it costs no cards then I guess that's the best part looking forward to it! I only have one Mario. Curses

It takes advantage of the "can't counter bug", so I'd not be fond of it, but more power to you if you get it going.

yap thats what i said in the bug section... i look forward to see whether it works in the current meta even without the bug... and ye it needs lots of resources and thats quite the biggest problem about my deck atm. very hard to play against rush when they are able to counter my reboot >.<

I like Malfatto a lot. I think the combination's (non-bug ones) are quite interesting. Using him with Red (Faith) allows you to combo the Pagan's (Mid-Wife, Mysterious Stranger). In addition, I like the idea of using Malfatto with Borgia Cardinal in a site deck. Could also be quite nice in some blue/purple decks that use green and rely on pumping up Nobles/Militants.

I think its to slow Afterall you can only use it as a control card. And for that its not rly fast.

I think the only rares needed for this deck are:
- 5 Forced Charity (really needed sadly) - 5 Scientific Espionnage (the less you have, the less you can win against RI/Pantheon) - 1 or 2 Mario - 3 or 4 Malfatto (and you got one for free) - 2 or 3 Ezio, Assassin - 1 or 2 Leonardo.
That's already a lot, but it's in the range of doable I think. With Discreet Calling, Knowledge is Power, Tactical Upheaval and Forced Charity, you will have them more than frequently in the hand.
My version of it (it was one of my first deck) is quite correct. I don't really like the gameplay because it is too passive/reactive for me, and you depend on the draw of Scientific Espionnage to win against certain decks. It's also quite weak against discard and Dante imo.
Anyway, in the end, it's a good deck with a strong board control combo. I think sadly that it will leave the meta as soon as decks will evolve again to better ones.
Malfatto is awesome by himself. The single fact that he can protect your allies at the speed of a surprise is huge. And in combo with all the trigger-agents, you can draw, discard, or destroy whatever you want. Very good rare, underplayed sadly.

Dante is no problem at all - at least with my deck - but the rest you said is so true... i only have 1 espionage so i am f***** against pantheon/ri in most cases. my strategy against it is to play pick your poison (always a good card to have in an defensive deck) asap and try to get a counter from my enemy for his RI...pantheon gets destroyed quickly anyway because of giovanni ( u missed him in the rare list - since when you dont have him you wont be able to destroy sites effectively enough because ezio assassin is much too expensive to get the combo going all the time and furthermore giovanni gives a +1 which is really needed in that deck). also really quick decks are hard to deal with but in atleast 50% of the cases i manage to come back into the game and stall him - gg then.

well if you mean me no i didnt post there. i still got one claudia in my deck but actually its mainly a sacrificial card... when i know my enemy got a counter ill play her early on because strangely they always counter her even though i couldnt use her effect anyway because early on its too expensive. there are alot better carddrawers so id say shes no good card for the current meta and might only be working in such a deck anyway because other controldecks will use reboot much too often for her to be effective. but just my opinion prove me wrong
