3 cost 2/1 , opponents memories resolves as though they do not have suprise.. It seems to invoke the opponent into hitting the quit button, and he can be uncounterable combined with Smoke Signal.

Well, you're assuming that 1) Your opponent relies on surprises and 2) They have no removal other than counters... Son, I've not seen a good counter deck in a long long time, I doubt they'll be a mainstay in this current environment either

It's nowhere near it's potential yet either. There may be hosers out there but Green/Blue got a lot of nasty new tricks as well. Everything from a new income engine to new counters and threats. (I'm playing other decks too! I have 5xEverything in both sets now.)

I dont know, blue got several new toys for countering everything. They got 3 New counter cards, 2 abilities, one that ERASES instead of neutralize and one agent that also a SURPRISE.
We'll see how it keeps playing out though, we have lots of new toys anyway.

Son, I've not seen a good counter deck in a long long time, I doubt they'll be a mainstay in this current environment either I just made a quick deck up with him in it before, it's surprising how much this card can just neuter the opponent. I have found that I still face an Order deck about 50% of the time too. I agree that they prob won't be a mainstay, but if you were evil-minded enough, you could conjure up a deck with him to make him as hard to remove as possible I don't use counters in many of my decks but I use PP a lot, when it resolves over 1/2 a day its pretty lame. There's also lots of new suprise sites/agents to consider now, This guy is a unique solution.

Ok I'm taking back what I said, played 3ndemic like 3 times yesterday, he was running a full force counter deck, and it sucked for me I was running a self discard trick deck that I've just been experimenting with. I like it, but it's been difficult to build and balance - such a different approach to deck building now than before!

This little guy is REALLY big. You won't notice the impact directly, but who doesn't play surprises? It is a very strong Scholar Agent.
I'm gonna put him in my new version of the Nicodeck.

He is an excellent addition to a counter deck. No more sneaking surprises around your counters.
