For some odd reason, whenever an agent that has an effect while Imperial Gardener is in play, if the agent uses its effect and resolves, it is immediately erased.
Ex: Imperial Gardener is attacking a region, opponent uses Paola's effect to reduce my score by 2 in the region, after resolution, Paola is erased from the game.
This also happened in another game with Edigio Troche's surprise ability of buffing an agent +1/+1. While Imperial Gardener was out, Edigio used its effect and was erased on the spot.
Edit: Any Agent with an ability that either activates by landing in the HQ or activated through a cost will get erased. Those that have passive abilities (Such as Imperial Gardener) will not be erased.
However this also makes me wonder about sites such as Firenze that require their ability to be activated when on a region.

I can confirm that this occurs with Heathen Followers. It has happened multiple times to me- should be repeatable by any player. Use heathen follower ability while gardener is in play.

Would like to add though that effects that destroy like Mario Auditore if targeting Gardener will kill Gardener and the agent will not be erased, but if their target is anything else, the agent will still be erased.
So pretty much the only way around this exploit is to kill Gardener quickly before throwing down any agents with high valued abilities.

I don't know if it's another bug or related but when I played surprise sites when the opponent had the Gardener in the board they came into play with 0 influence.

Everything is pretty much messed up when the Gardener is in play. I tried to play him with some Nobles and a few sites, and I got bugs with nearly every single card I played.

I actually wanted to post to this thread: acreedrecollection.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=bugs&action=display&thread=1572but I think the mods disabled the reply button there and just keep the Gardener issues in one thread. Anyway, I can confirm that the NOOS issue is still there when the Gardener and another agent (that gets blocked by or blocks the gardener) dies at the same time. I think ABXantos' comment is spot on - the game can't decide where to put both agents when they die. Should they both go to the erased pile because the Gardener's abilities are still in effect at the point of death, or should they go to the Archive since the Gardener's abilities are no longer in effect at the point of death? In my case, my Turkish Assassin was blocked by the Gardener, both died, and then I got a NOOS issue. Mods, please move this to a new thread if you deem so since it's really a different issue from the fix mentioned in this thread.

I play a lot of Cyril and gardener. And I can confirm that there are still a lot of NOOS in these games. Too many to be a coincidence.
