Mahjongg scoring discussion is quite common in China (there are three popular official scoring methods - before a game an overall agreement is mandatory ^^), if someone wants to learn how it works you may search for "Four Wind Mahjong" that's a truly good program both for PC and as an app for ipad. It's probably the best game of the world for me (official italian scoring is really different from other scoring set - personally I like the oldest Hong Kong with penalties on last tile played for example). Tuism: you're asian, you like games (hope boardgames also) so do yourself a favor and try a mahjong game with some people - you'll be really happy in that discover, trust me!

Lol jools maybe I didn't make myself clear, I used to play mahjong when I had a lot of Asian friends around, but they mostly moved away so I'm left with white folk friends who are great people but dunno how to play mahjong I love mahjong even if I don't know how scoring works
