When reading the description: pay 2 discard an agent, get an agent from the archive to your hand.
However, someone just played me with this card, and it seemed to me he was just paying 2 and neutralizing any card I had out, site or agent...
I'm not sure, maybe this is a bug...

We need more info on what was on the board.
I can see a loop with this site and Odai Dunqas that can make you feel powerless, but I don't see why it would neutralize your cards...

Whoa. That sounds like a combo with the crime girl 11 cost. Strange name, she has. It looks legit, with 2 of her and the abbazia it's indeed an infinite kill loop...

I just played someone with this and it was super annoying (read I was yelling at the screen) because there was no apparent reason for me to lose my sites and agents other than the surprise was triggering on this site.
I finally figured out what was going on because my opponent finally put out a Maria Thorp. He/she was discarding Maria and choosing her to return to his/her hand. Since she neutralizes an agent or site with the highest cost when she is discarded, it is a cheap loop of 2 gold to destroy everything on the board.
The most annoying part is you have no idea why the frak it is happening.

Quickly made a deck and it's like... totally the best deck ever. Just saying.

I love when the expansion breathes life into a cards that were neglected. That site was the cheapest of the assassin rares and now it's cleaned out of the market. This expansion really stirred the pot.

Yeah. It's one of those impossibly good deals that keep on giving. I really wonder about all these seemingly imba bits, should they all get a nerf, or because there're so many of them it's ok to have them as is? Infinite site AND agent killing is about as good as infinite +2 income and card draw. And infinite Odais. And surprise agent kill +5 direct damage. The wild west is getting REALLY wild now

Hmmm... This one has many points in its favor: - You play Faith, thus, negating all other 11-cost cards combos, and potential mirror matchs, with Holy Day. - You play Crime, thus, allowing you Assassin Stronghold for more lame winning situations. - This cheap combo (the Abbazia costs 3...) can destroy whatever is on the field twice per day for nearly nothing (2 per activation). - Half of the combo is tutorable with Discreet Calling.
Its weakness is that it's horrible to play agaisnt, specifically if don't know what's going on.

You guys should go and create your own card game and let us kids play with fun and not to be killed from the back If you know the situation, its not difficult to counter but I was just sitting there and thinking of Bronto exploiting a big bug xD. Is this going to be the next meta?

Well it will certainly be played by a lot of guys and forces solutions to be found (there are big fat solutions but not in the right colors). I will be bored of easy wins in a few games on my side, and find new decks to play with. I like games to be challenging.
But be sure that there is no bug or exploit in this strategy. I would never play a deck that exploits a bug. Abbazia discards Maria, triggering her effect that destroys the most expensive card on your side, and you can grab her back with the same Abbazia effect.
And again, matchmaking has to be inmplemented. This kind of deck is certainly not fun at all. :]

Ranked match ups can't get here soon enough. We really need a shallow end of the pool where it's safe to stick your toes in the water and not be devoured by crushing combos when first trying out the game.

You only need one of each since you can discard first then pick out of archive. At least Abbazia is not a sanctuary or ruin; then both sides of the combo would be tutorable.

Just put a deck together to try. Conclusion: I wonder how they will nerf all these combos. It's like multiple pan/ri setups, just cos theyre not single card powerhouses doesn't mean that the field hasn't become horribly skewed to these power combos. You either play them to win, or not play them, or deal with them, or hope your opponent is unlucky enough to not get the combo.
All to the detriment of other cards, for example even the old powerhouses are being neglected.
Sounds like we're back to Lanz or cesare? To a lesser degree? But is it not kinda true?
