I was playing around with 2 ideas:
1) What's the fastest rush deck possible?
2) How thin can I make a deck?
This was the result. It suffers from the limitations of any rush deck, but it is so brutally fast that it is far more competitive than I anticipated. I called it "Quick Draw" because so far it's the "Fastest Deck in the West" that I've come up with. It can actually win in a single day.
Pure Income:
5x Political Patronage
5x Knowledge Has A Price
Deck Thinning:
5x Ancient Map
5x Knowledge Is Power
5x Militia Intimidation
Tutors:
5x Family Heirloom
5x Engineer's Workshop
Kill Sites:
5x Assassin Library
5x San Gimignano
Golden Toolbox:
2x Den Defense
1x Constantinople, Galata District
1x Incite Revolt
1x Animus Reboot
Simple Playbook:
Pump enough resources to lay down San Gimignano, and then Assassin Library on top of it. That will score 10 in two regions for an instant win when the day rolls around.
Additional Strategy:
It's great to lay down Constantinople first to prevent counters. Tutor Incite Revolt if you're facing discard. Tutor Animus Reboot if your site(s) are destroyed. Wipe the field and then lay down the combo again. If your sequence is running low on cards, then Incite Revolt can fill it up.
Possible Modifications:
The Golden Toolbox is open to modification. Other possible cards to include: Tactical Upheaval, Sudden Exhaustion, Venezia San Polo District, Condottiero Tactics. Cards from other colors that could also fit well: Dama Rossa, Daring Experiment, Sofia's Home, Quick Study, Piri Reis, Ottoman Bombman, Scientific Espionage, In-Depth Analysis, Lassitude, Ancient Library, The Mentor's Return.
Let me know your thoughts and suggestions, thanks!
