And they are making a game about the American revolution...
Edit: my comment was meant as a question why they don't show appreciation of 4th of july when they're making a game about the independence day. I see no reason why all should make discounts on this day. Especially not non-American companies... Silly.

Well, it is a good marketing opportunity, to be sure. Other than that... I barely know 2 or 3 holidays in other countries, and none by dates.

Well it's clientele are pretty international, so yea they can't celebrate every nations national holiday I guess. I mean , if you celebrate one ,then other people are going to complain about there's not being celebrated.
Yea the next game is about the American revolution so it would have been a good opportunity to do a bit of advertising.
All I was referring to was "patriotic" (love of ones own country)

Ubi did put out a independence day trailer for assassins creed 3. Very well shot. Saw it on kotaku.
There was/is a multitude of sales going on on the app store, that was pretty cool. Got scrabble, street fighter volt, air mail and some cool stuff for a buck:

Lol, Aman, You obviously have not seen the advertising of ACIII, Nothing screams KILL THE RED COATS more than EVERY single ACIII Trailer (Including that crap released of a trailer yesterday) 'I won't learn the history of a country I will never see' (Was the words of a part of that trailer) That and your post is the typical ignorance that sours my view of Americans... I just have to remember REALLY hard that I have a number of American friends who have a bit more...worldly understanding. And I think you assume to much in thinking Ubi's fan base has an American Majority... Please remember there are Five more Continents that Ubisoft develop games for. My Apologises to everyone else on this thread and in this forum for what is perhaps my most vocal post... But this is not the first time I have seen this type of post in the last 24 hours, and it really peeves me. Happy 4th of July to all the Americans  You Tax dodgers you! |

Lol why should they do something for the 4th of July or any holiday (aside from retail holidays) why do you feel entitled to get something free or that they owe you something. As Vespasian said, my apologies, but this is kind of sad

Anyways , as far as we know I think we get Valentines day as our ACR bonus day! (pretty universal) there was another period where packs were cheaper but I can't recall when it was ? |

I totally do not remember what happened on that day except that there was a credits sale. (yes yes, my date is my wife but I totally Do not remember where we went or what we ate/did.) |
