THAT was a scary strategy you had just now! If I hadn't been watching the archive (wondering why you weren't discarding 11s) AND tutored up a Suleiman at the last second, I would have just had to sit back and watch the bloodbath!
GG today Kyle! Really close and even. You where fractures from winning many times. I just held on with my nails. Had good combos in hand but was forced to use all resources on killing 11/11 agents or junos when you had above 30 income. Was always a bit behind with all you income and draw. Games like this is what I love about ACR. Agent battle, sites exchanging influence, cards that change the battle etc.
Really nice deck. I noticed a variation of Joek's calling all stand-ins. Good idea with Juno.
That Juno is the only change from Joek's deck. I swapped out 2 Laboratory Researches for 2 Junos. I like having that as a win condition since the deck gets pretty serious income.
I think the closest I came to getting you was with a Juno but I dropped one of the Stand Ins before she resolved and by the time I got back up to 30, you had her covered. I was kicking myself for that one.
Yours was a great deck, too! There at the end, I couldn't even keep track of the sites you were putting down! Most intense game I've played in a month, easily.
My deck is all about the gaspar/Ezio mentor combo. Lets me replace all sites with surprise AND agents when I have six in play. Mario and Giovanni becomes counters that can recycle. And I win from scoring sites like lighthouse. Once that gets going. It's GG.
Not great I'm afraid. Against a very fast deceptive rush it loses without the right cards in hand. Especially if it is site based with boosters. I need specific cards in hand to deal with that. A catacomb in hand will win me the game. A tutor or Giovanni will give a good shot. Without I'm toast most games.
