The village doesn't affect launching abilities. That means cards like San polo district will still kill it. It's exactly as intended.

The parenthese means that if a site already resolved who has launched an ability (by tapping on it, in the detailed view of the memory), then that ability will have no effect.
Can you confirm it works well like that?

No dude. It means fishing village will have no effect on launching memories. It does not say "launching abilities do not take effect". It means fishing village will not take away launching effects, whether it resolved before or after fishing village.
Edit: Oops, yes I just read what you said and it sounds right. Basically, permanent effects are removed, effects that ate one shot with site resolving are unaffected.
I still think people generally need a better indication of ongoing and one-shot effects - new players get SUPER confused.

The way hurdler just worded it made perfect sense to me.. its not the actual abilities triggered when a site RESOLVES that are affected, but the ability a site has (by tapping on a sites ability when its already in play) that will have no effect. It all makes sense to me now hahah
