Cards across different colours don't compare cos they're intrinsically different. Colours are specialized. Some decks want the +1 income. I don't think that's a savannah lion situation at all

Well, with cards like Cranial Extraction or, in ACR's case, Losing Faith, variety in cards snd picking oddball inferior choices isn't necessarily illogical sometimes. Sure, that's a narrow situation to consider, but it's all part of the deckbuilding process.

I'm not here to debate the relative merits of different deck distributions, but considering the care and effort I put into obtaining exactly 5 of each card, the devs damn well better not change that number, or they've lost a customer for certain.
Just sayin'

TuismI think Bartolomeo has +1 income as well. EDIT: That's the only one I can find. Thank goodness there's no savannah lion situation.

There were no Savanah Lions in Magic when it first came out either. (What's wrong with a 1/1 Banding creature? ) But when a game has thousands of cards you're going to get some repeats. I'm sure they'll show up in ACR given enough time and expansions.

Savannah Lion was a concerted and deliberate attempt from the card maker to make a "rare" that's better than other cards just because it was rare. I don't care about duplicates and cards that are functionally similar, but as yet, I haven't seen a card that's better just cos it's rare, and from what I'm seeing in the balancing, I don't think it will happen. So, fingers crossed
