Yep, joek, that can be a disadvantage in some games. That's why I do it just like you: put 2 in the deck, see what opp plays, tutor him if appropriate. However, he is not crucial to the deck.

Lanz may be weaker in most situations, he will never disapoint you!

Lanz grows all your thieves, so you could say its exponential. Damat is a one at a time growth, so each score is only +1. Net effect is that Lanz adds better, especially with magnetic.

Makes sense. There isn't any magnetic personality in this deck though. So I guess it would be easier for opponent to block the Lanz instead of every thief. In this scenario maybe Damat is better?

Hey there! After some more playtesting I think the deck is ready to be moved to the Competitive section. With or without Lanz I had pretty good results (9/10 games a win). So if one the admins would be so kind as to move the thread (if there are no objections, of course )? (By the way: The 1/10 losses are against other thief rush decks and the golden trader decks lurifaxb-style...).
