I can't wait to see what changes they make to some cards in the game, I heard them mention that there was an update being processed by apple so we will see soon.
I just know that something in the game needs to be changed, maybe thats just my opinion because I seem to have bad luck and face pure counter decks 75-80% of the time.
It just seems that the game as a whole has gotten more annoying. Almost every day now I will play 3-4 games and just get annoyed and quit and go off to do something els. Before the expansion I could play for an hour or 2 and not be bored or angered by the end...
Unfortunately that could be because of many things, all these cards to make the game more difficult to understand and predict overall (though not much to predict when all your cards are getting countered AND the opponent gets a token in, Stronghold, sulie, byzantin, yerbatten) Anyways, I'll leave my rant at that and wait to see future updates.

Ive not been able to play for a few weeks but even then, i was starting to autoquit a lot when facing pure counter decks. Why? becuase its got 0 entertainment value to me and i play for entertainment. I feel theres some easy tweaks they can do , and they did a great job with the first balance changes , so im not too worried

The huge difference between AC:R and other CCGs is the ability to modify existing cards and I think they knocked it out of the park the last time. I look forward to seeing what they do. I will say that figuring out how to stop or outrun the new counters (and there are certainly ways) has been part of the fun for me, at least. Piri was such a cool idea and sort of brought agent removal back from the dead. One thing I would like to see is for the actions that specifically cause the next card to be a surprise to override him somehow.

I don't know anything about the tweak you guys talked about but I really hope it arrives soon. It's really discouraging to new players when your opponent is using Stronghold, sulie, byzantin, yerbatten, ... etc. in their deck.

This 100% sums up my "anger", If you want to call it that, on the forum today. Sorry if I'm comming of as whining and complaining but if I feel this way, I agree with joyce, I can't imagine how overwhelmed new players feel (like its impossible to win).

I think that as the card list expands and people have more and more time to explore and collect, dumping noobs into general population (to use a prison metaphor) is just going to be traumatic for them. There really isn't a way way around it other than building a matchmaking ability so that they can play each other and us badasses can get abused by whatever obscure synergies Bronto has been cooking up There is a core of players who kind of came up together and spent a lot of time on the boards trading tips and strategies. For them, the new counter heavy stuff is just something else to figure out. And a lot of players have. There are a number of ways to skin the cat that is the current meta. I know that I can't just build a super mega counter deck and expect to beat the really competitive guys any more regularly than if Suleiman et al didn't exist. There are just too many solutions. I actually feel that, with the exception maybe of the outrageous price that PP is going for lately, it is easier than it used to be to put a reasonably competitive deck together without paying IRL money or doing a ton of grinding. If you just max out Suleiman and build a simple a Noble rush that features Harbor to make them safe, you can probably win close to half your matches. Counters or not. I bet it wouldn't cost 5000 credits, most of which you can get just by playing the missions in single player. That's great for noobs. Also, I think that getting destroyed by fortunate draws from counter decks isn't any more infuriating than the discard that used to run rampant. You trade one humiliating way to die for another. And when the next batch of cards comes out, I have no doubt that people will be reminiscing about the good old days when all they had to worry about was removing Piri and getting their cards out before their opponent got 5 resources. Incidentally, the best solution to many of the cards I saw listed as usual suspects is to build a site based deck and pack that red card that makes them surprise. And there are some super ones to be made. Just make sure you have an agent removal plan in there somewhere. I have a lot of cents, but there's 2 of them.

It is indeed. Using 5 of it in almost all of my red/x decks now.
