I have Olympic fever. I am so hooked on watching the games. Anyone else as addicted as me? Really curious what our members in other countries outside of the States think.

Im in Taiwan, so I can only check out the results of finals of each game as soon as I wake up. Especially, swimming, since I was on the school team in college.

Tried to find the Opening Ceremony cos I missed that. Couldn't find it ANYWHERE on the internet because obviously of IOC banning all but official coverage. I WILL FIND A WAY!

If only IOC wasn't such a diktat. The spirit of the games is definitely dead now that you can only have it if you paid the license. London started things that will change the face of sport for ever.
I'm not sure I want to support that. It's sad, I love the games usually.

Yeah I know, I heard NOONE in the London retail is even allowed to mention the word. So can't say like "Olympic Torch Treats" or "The Olympic Specials" or anything. It's really a commercial long drop.

I am watching the games... just really disapointed with our (GB) not havign a Gold yet... It will come though I tell you something, I, along with many, many other Brits thought the Opening Cereomony was going to be awful... I was happy to say it was actually very good... The people who go tto be involved was fantastic

I didn't realize not everyone could watch it, that sucks. Here's the website for the official U.S. broadcaster www.nbcolympics.com/ . They have a ton of videos and some live streaming. Obviously geared towards Americans but you can watch the French get revenge in swimming, and the American men choke away a medal in team Gymnastics. @templartyler Even if the Brits don't get a Gold that Bronze the men got in Gymnastics was huge and will probably mean more then a Gold in another sport. It reminded me of what the U.S. team did in last Olympics when they got bronze when they weren't supposed to medal. It was great to see the teams so happy just to medal.

It was great to see the teams so happy just to medal. +1. Aside from seeing the indomitable will of the human spirit, this to me, is what the Olympics is all about.

We have Two Golds now, Well done Wiggins and the rowers; Glover and Stanning But, Aye it was a shocker that Gmynastics one, and a very big well done to them for defying odds. One question for all: Bolt or Blake (Or other) to get Gold? I am 100% sure Bolt will come away winner again.

My wife is a swimmer, consequently the first week of the Olympics gets a lot of attention around here.
She's really impressed with the South African who out touched Phelps.

I love watching the Olympics, but really wish that I could get some other country's TV coverage (I live in the U.S., where each televised event is basically all about "why American X should win because, well, America!"). I just read an article that mentioned that the BBC has 24 extra channels for the Olympics - one for each sport - and they're showing live, commercial-free coverage all the time. I'm so jealous.

I live in the US as well and one of the guys I work with mentioned he's always wanted to see Olympic Table Tennis over here but he can't because the US is not a favorite in that event so it's not being covered (I don't even know if the US has an Olympian for this sport).

Also I saw on the news about the badminton. Tsk Tsk. Wow - I just read the news on this. Definitely disgusting - if you're an Olympian, act like one.
