Harbor of Julian:
Gold site, 2 influence, cost 5. Memories cannot score more than 2 at a time.
I just tried out this card in my crappy merchant guild deck. I figured it would buy me some time to set up my combo.
The card was a one-of, but tutorable. Especially if you have heirlooms. It definitely overperformed (in a weak deck though).
Against a thief deck it allowed me to ignore a fast growing lanz duo. Against a deceptive San Gimignano it bought me 4 turns to set up my combo (my deck failed miserably, but that was more due to the rest of the deck than Harbor of Julian).
Crucially, Harbor of julian doesn't hurt merchant guild at all, since the guild only scores small chunks of points (extremely quickly).
Harbor of Julian seems to be versatile enough to include in a deck where I struggle to find room for San polo (the gold 4 cost site killer site). It even has 2 influence which is not irrelevant.
Yet I have NEVER played against it. This would seem to indicate that I am overvaluing the card. Thoughts?

Reading this again, I might be too harsh on my own deck. It routinely beats all the crap decks you meet in anonymous matchmaking, and sometimes has a fighting chance with a god draw against better decks (PP + Piri goes a long way in this meta!)

I play it in my Schola/Media deck. With Altair, Sofia, Piri who only scores 2 points maximum. It saved me a lot of times. ^^

I created a scholar/crime deck around this card and atm it does a really good job.

I also created a scholar crime version, but it was too annoying... It revolved around Amerigo and Paula, and undoing my opponent's scores.

If you have harbor down and you get a +3 (or above) score with Merchant guild, will all three score or only 2?

Merch guild scores as much as the income. +3 at a time = 3 influence. Apply harbour = 2 influence. It's normal.
Merch guild doesn't score 1 x 3 times.

Yeah, I kind of exaggerated there. But still, very few cards give more than +2 income. Even the discovery (+2 income, draw a card, discard a card) + incite revolt (if discarded +2 income) gives 2 chunks of +2 income.
I should probably have said "harbor of Julian doesn't hurt Merchant Guild at all IN MY DECK". Which would be a lie btw because I sometimes play incite revolt expecting to end the game, only to discover that it only scored 2 on my guild...
