I have one too. Unfortunately "Sometimes" is the keyword.

Yeah, it's certainly not competitive. But you regularly get those magical moments like the one I posted.

do you think it would be a healthy meta where income desstruction would be competitive? Overall "locks" are very bad for the game.
we had Citizen/Discard Lock, and atm we somewhat have a counter-lock.

do you think it would be a healthy meta where income desstruction would be competitive? you're right, it would definitely not be a healthy meta. I think income destruction is right where it should be at the moment: It can work sometimes (maybe it makes your opponent think about other strategies than counter decks ) and it won't work often. However, I think it does more harm to expensive decks with many 7+ cost cards than to cheap "newbie" decks. So maybe there's some justice in that. ;-)

I think income destruction can get a little more in favour of it. Right now it's just novelty. However I really want to make a Tightrope Walking deck, it's just pretty difficult to walk that balance... You could give yourself +4 from 6, but that seems too slow for 6.

What you do with tightrope is get 3 and then drop a PP. Late game tightrope + collateral brings the opponent down to 6 from anything, and surprise chaining income destruction is amusing.

Yeah, except late game with 2 cards I can get rid of two of his cards, or attack with 2 cards. Income destruction needs a little boost. Zero cost faux pas please

No and no, Tuism I think income denial is fine. It is not consistently good but can work as a surprise. This is where it should be. I would very much dislike playing many games where you where locked down and couldn't play any cards. It is ok it can happen, but think if it was every second or third game this happened... Faux pas is fine. We don't need counter decks that eliminate booster cards with no cost.

Income destruction is a very idea but it might not be that easy due to ACR auto income generation nature.

Did anyone else hit the archive button to see how it was done?

I like diversity, the only time income destruction can work now is against noob decks or bad draws, really. So, I'd like a little more beef in that bolognaise

Sometimes it works against income destruction decks, too! Would that be enough beef, Tuism?

Income destruction versus inevitably turns out really funny and boring, both players sitting on no income saving up gold for... just... that... one... more... collateral damage. I've had a few of those games, was hilarious
