Just a couple quick anecdotes from recent games. 1) I've run into a really nasty deck a couple times recently: PP -> Macchiavelli -> Odai. One PP and dude has a 4/4 Fierce and a 3/3 out. 2nd Machiavelli added a 2nd Odai to the board. Mean, mean deck. 2) I was finally able to turn an opponent using uncounterable Silvio to my advantage. My FT deck had switched decks, but he was close to winning anyway. All I had in my hand were a Suleiman and Preemptive Strike, and he was smart enough to not launch any memories while he was inching closer to victory with what he already had in play. Luckily, I drew a Silvio of my own, launched it, then tried to counter it with Suleiman to get a much-needed blocker. Once I realized my luck, I use Preemptive Strike on the same Silvio and got a very much needed card that lead to victory. So... yay for using an opponent's bugged deck against him?

Not a bug Silvio is now ALWAYS safe. Just like it says on the card. This was corrected when the expansion came out I think. You could counter him with guard duty (erase target launching memory) since SAFE doesn't prevent the memory from being erased. The Nico deck has been discussed in depth here several times. It is fast when it has one of its explosive draws, but certainly not unbeatable.

The PP > Macchiavelli > Odai combo is great when it happens. When it doesn't the deck needs other power to rush. Selling Dreams can help. Otherwise it's a pretty flat deck. Silvio being uncounterable is a bug, confirmed by Ubi, will be fixed in upcoming updates. That is all

I stand corrected then.
I thought it made sense that way though, and I really liked the existence of a non-surprise anti-counter card.
