=>coolkendude: Yes, I do agree with u that you could just make 6 gold in time with 17 Total Income. Congrats, coolkendude! You are now officially this contest's leader! If no one else comes up with a better win route, your 3x[Insert Card Name] are just a few posts away.

Can the opponent be overconfident or overprotective of their HQ agents? Plausible I think considering this is a perfect draw. 1. Campaign both caesars Caesars in first region 2. Launch Discovery before MI resolves (1 gold) 3. MI resolves and it's "On the Attack" (2 cost order to score in any one region) Do not cast it yet!
Cyril and Altair score and game is 10 0 9 0 6 0
They just need 1 more point, they launch one of their agents in the right region. Half a day and they win! Confident in the trifecta of defense the opponent chooses not to block your Caesars. Who cares if you get 10 in first region Sofia will prevent the site from scoring. Fatal mistake.
Caesars score: 10 0 9 10 6 0
Your Discovery resolves and Janissary Justice is discarded scoring 1 in all regions. 9 0 9 10 7 1
Now is a good time to launch that "on the attack" at instant speed scoring 3 in the center region. 9 0 9 10 10 1
"Good game you exclaim!"
3 gold just over half a day and a little overcautiousness in your opponent.

I like the idea, but I'd consider the opponent to be less than cautious instead - "who cares if you score" isn't the talk of a cautious person.

Fair point. I was just looking at it from the other side of the table asking "what boneheaded thing might I do that would cost me the game?" I realized I might be too overprotective of my defensive combo to sacrifice one of the key cards to the caesars.

1. Campaign both caesars Caesars in first region Hmmm... Mosque's Yard will prevent the two Cesares from campaigning.

I've been racking my brain trying to figure out a way to use a surprise Learned Hermeticist to put the site back in my hand and immediately relaunch it, but unfortunately I can't eliminate both problem agents in time (Sofia and Maffeo Polo)... if only that Ottoman Janissary were a Byzantine Brute instead...

Ok, I think I have another solution without relying on Incite Revolt or Catacombs because it's not sexy enough for me ;D but it lets you win before the day ends. 1) Play Discovery before MI resolves (cost: 1) 2) When MI resolves, you draw False Hopes. Play False Hopes at surprise speed on left region (cost: 9). Day hasn't ended yet at this point. You score will be 10/6/0 at this point. 3) Play Janissary Justice (cost: 11) before day ends while Discovery is still Resolving. 4) Block Cyril with any agent. 5) Discovery resolves and guess what? You draw another Janissary Justice but wait, you have to discard this because it's your highest cost memory... Score at this point will be 10/7/1 - Your opponent score at the left region becomes 9. 6) Finally, the first Janissary Justice (step 3) resolves. Your score will be 10/10/4. 7) Win. Cost: 20 Time: Less than a day (You win before the start of another card-drawing phase). EDIT: Corrected the final scores on each region. =>coolkendude: Yes, I do agree with u that you could just make 6 gold in time with 17 Total Income. Congrats, coolkendude! You are now officially this contest's leader! If no one else comes up with a better win route, your 3x[Insert Card Name] are just a few posts away. Sorry coolkendude, but even if this does work it shouldn't. Janissary Justice will have defender and should not be able to score in the center region.

I don't have any Maffeo so I can't test.

Yikes! Can anybody confirm? I don't have any Maffeo so I can't test. Ok, I just realized I can test this even without Maffeo. I used the 2nd scenario in the campaign (Constantinople). This is the campaign where your opponent uses Maffeo and Georgios. Janissary Justice still scored 3 even though both Maffeo and Georgios were on the board. The AI had the following scores: 8/2/0. My score was 4/0/3. When I played JJ, I made sure it had the Defender icon. I still scored 3 on the right region even though the AI had no score in there. My score after JJ resolved became 7/3/6. I should have taken screenshots. I'll play that campaign again and see if I can get screenshots.

When I played my Juno deck I ran into a lot of odd bugs with my combo of Georgios and Maffeo but some were hard to replicate again so I didn't report them. That's why I said it shouldn't work. This is a good contest though. I can not find a way to win yet other than using the archive.

That's why I said it shouldn't work. I see what you mean... and for the record, I think you're right that conceptually, JJ shouldn't be able to score in this situation. Fortunately for me, it still scores in v2.14 so I leave this to tisonpomrt's discretion. By the way, I was finally able to take screenshots of JJ in action. Below are the screenshots that show JJ scoring even with Maffeo and Georgios in play. First pic shows JJ in play (note the score on the left-most region): Second pic shows results after JJ resolves (JJ still scores in the left-most region): EDIT 1: Hmmm... images are not showing up. Can anybody tell me how to attach images? EDIT 2: Ok, figured out how to attach the images.
