After participating in a couple of duels today, I realized that the world is round.
Kidding... But the meta is not going to stay constant and will fluctuate with each new addition and sets of cards and whatnot. So when we make cool/interesting/competitive decks, lets not be greedy and share it with the world. It can grow with each person that sees it.
Anyway, this is currently my favorite deck and is extremely fun to play. Good Luck with it.
Core:
1x Monteriggioni (or 2)
4-5x Bitter Farewell 5x The Discovery 5x Laboratory Research 4-5x Papal Influence 1-2x Incite Revolt 5x The Mentor's Return
Draw Power 3-5x Sofia's Office 0-5x Ancient Map 5x Knowledge is Power 1-2x Ancestral Discovery
Toolbox 3-5x Family Heirloom 0-1x Power to the People 0-1x Sudden Exhaustion 0-3x Pilfer Supplies 1-2x Militia Intimidation 0-1x Mob Justice 0-1x Condottiero Tactics 1x Venezia, San Polo District 1x Wrath of the Righteous
Tips: First off you want to have a discard and level 11 card in your hand. Try to get as all the cards and gold you can. Bring out Monteriggioni (usually with Militia Intimidation so their's no counter/wait time) Go Crazy >.> End it with Papals.
Take care of my baby T.T

Cute Am I right that the only win condition is Papal Influence? If so, you mihgt want ot include leap of faith. With monteriggioni it's like an ancient map

Interesting deck, does that mean if someone holds counters and destroys your monteriggionis (or counters them), you'll just quit/draw/lose?

I played against this. All of a sudden it just explodes. Your getting discarded left and right. Opponent draws so many cards. Your agents die. Then you lose. You just sit there and blink It is vulnerable though. But a fun deck.

Adding in a Juno is another way to play this deck. But you can bring it back/ destroy them, etc. Really once you get the site out you pretty much have full control.
I have won so many times before they actually get to destroy it.

Against the Randomness of people in auto-match, this deck blows up people left and right

There's just too much to counter.

Looks like a good reason for us all to pack 5 Holy Days in our decks in case we run into you.

I don't want to have to start adding scientific espionage into the deck just because of this >.>

Scientific Espionage will do you no good during that first half day. On the upside for you, your first faux discard will resolve before Holy Day, at least if the person takes a few seconds to look at your cards.

It not the first day, I worry about. The effect always goes off. Its the random days before the site goes down

I'll admit, you've lost me. Why are later days more worrisome to you than earlier days (regarding your cost 11 cards being erased)?

I have a very similar deck, but mine has 5x Ox Forum. You just save up to 10 income and cycle through as much cards as possible (sped up with Monterigioni) in the meantime to get yourself 2x Papal Influence and 2 Oxes and score in two regions in one turn. It's a lot of fun to play when you can keep spamming cards, but it's also very sensitive to counterspells. That's why I've moved away from the deck in the meantime to an even more draw-heavy deck, where you just outdraw your opponent... They can only counter as many cards as counters they have. Obviously that deck also includes Leo's Workshop to score in the meantime. It's much more consistent in winning

Hi there! We played each other 5 times the other day (gtalk remember?), and now I see you deck you really need more ways to win. Especially when someone knows what you are playing you really don't stand a chance anymore.
Fun games though!
