I don't know if this is up for discussion, but I think 3 games to make 1 match is a bit excessive. I'd prefer a format where 1 win = 1 point, max 5 (or 10 or 15) games against each opponent. With a family to care for, I can often only spare 10 minutes here and 15 minutes there. 3 games to a match would force me to set aside ~30 minutes in case the games drag. If we add some time required for arranging matches, I will probably only be able to play 1 match per day if I am lucky. If matches were 1 game each, I'd be able to play several more because each game would be easier to fit into a tight schedule. As I see it, the primary argument FOR having 3 game matches is to reduce the impact of variance on results. This makes a lot of sense in a knock out tournament where 1 player might get a bad draw and be out for the rest of the tournament. But in a league, I see no real argument for having 3 game matches; am I overlooking something? Actually, I agree. 1 game for point sounds fine - playing 5 x 3 to 5 x 2 games (10 to 15 games) per pairing seems a bit much. Updated the main discussion. Please look at the current consenses and raise issues if any. Cool

Let's just see how abusable the bugs are. Anything goes, no restrictions at all... I'd say the uncounterable Silvio is pretty prone to abuse. I played a guy last night who used his own Silvio to get a Suleiman into play...

Well, if people want to abuse something 2 things happen.
1) we see if it is really competitive. 2) the user shows the community that they abuse broken cards... It is a very public tournament with no prices.

Pretty much agree with lurifaxb , it depends on how badly people want to win vs people playing for enjoyment and kudos. That's the meta, so thats what the league will show either way. I Voted for ban 3 but I'm not adamant about it, I think a free for all is cool too. Just practice what you preach

Current consensus is 5 games and not 5 matches agreed. Will change the rules in the main thread to reflect this later.

If the new version contains card edits/fixes/nerfs We restart the league with the new fixes in regards but post the current matches that were played for other to look at so that they amounted to something.
If the new version contains new cards/expansion I think we still continue the league with our current deck-list, but we can still fight all we want in auto-match with the news cards.
Having new cards will make the next league A LOT more interesting and fun xP

I think... Screw it, just keep playing I mean we really can't prepare for deus ex machine on every level Realistically, there aren't new cards coming yet, that I know. If any nerds render any decks completely unplayable (like if Suleiman is no longer a counter lol) we can restart the league, but generally I think there shouldn't be any decks destroyed, unless you're playing a super exploitative deck, in which case... Good riddance
