If you like, we can count automatch games in the league. If you do, please write me to confirm so we both can update scores. I'll do the same. I may not play my league deck if I don't recognize your name, so it is important that you write as I may have played another deck. If I do, these matches can't count of cause.
Cheers, have fun!

Played the second Maria Abaz combo today. Lost first 2 and won the last. Very close games. More fun that I had hoped although I still think that combo should get a nerf. Good play by Collins in general.

Played some close games vs Nyxeus and her counters. First game drew blank on income. Was steamrolled. Second game Nexeus cleverly countered her own cards (piri was down so no damage) to deploy influence sites to steal the win in one move.
Last game wad epic. I got my combo going just in time when I drew a site (stronghold). I was behind 10-9 and 3 Silvios where killing all my agents as I had to block them. Ezio mentor was down and I kept gaspar in hand. When I finally drew a site. I deployed gaspar and stronghold to get back the site that instantly scores 2 (and defender). I then used a sofias office to grind down the middle locations to influence 0 and then 10 and started on the other locations for a quick win. Sites flying left and right. I imagine it looked like fireworks from her point of view. GG Nyxeus. Well played in general.

GG Sothon. 4-1. A very good rush deck that if the draw is there is really hard to stop. Luckily for me his draw wasn't good last 3 games.
Game one saw its potential. PP -> Selim. Then came the official noble hoard. Got rush so bad by 6 agents that couldn't be stopped. Well played sir!
Game two was a cliffhanger. Down 10-9 I just managed to deploy lighthouse to make it 8-9 before he scored to 8-10. Then I had (imba) stronghold to kill agents with.
Last three games I had great draws and he hadn't. I got of a pick your poison to grab court order to counter his Selim. Then it was pretty much over as I hand income and card advantage.

Played one game vs Falkinator2000. He started with PP and two discard effect straight out of the bat. Follow-up by another divine intervention. Ouch. Then came nico and odai. I could keep him at bay until he deployed Rossi to score the last points by erasing his own site. Well played sir. Looking forward to a rematch.

Played Falkinator today for the last 4 games. Some good games vs what I think is the strongest deck in the league.
First game I got stopped early really bad. 2 PP and discards cards in my face. By taking out some agents and maneuvering a bit we actually got to a Mexican stand off. On cards on hand and only 1 agent each. Unfortunately first draw I drew scientific espionage and then a den defense and he drew a discard site and an agent. He then went on to win fair and square.
Second game was really close. But the great start of 2 pp had a backside. Falks ran out of cards while I gained them through drawing cards. Still, it was very close.
Game three and four where to my luck bad draws for Falks and great draws for me. Game three I won by card advantage. Game 4 Falks just drew a complete blank, leaving me to build income and draw cards while my agents (piri and some fiends) campaigned for a slow win.
Respect to Falks for pulling back a win game 3 as I did some whining (like I some times do here) about how a card was played (nothing confirmed abusive or bugged btw). I told him that he won, but he insisted on taking it back and getting a rematch. A rematch he them lost and did not complain about it. Respect!

My matches against Falkinator was very much non-events each and every one - I got totally wiped out EASY. I think he's got the strongest deck in the league Although I tried it out in random, and it indeed isn't as stable against faster decks - most notably other combo decks involving 11 costers. The meta is much bigger than any of us thought We neeeeeeed a real competitive environment so we can be testing like this constantly!

Played Ironcladtrash and his high influence sites. We both played Assasin strongholds and it was a battle for influence (nerf influence on stronghold please!). Ironclad got the best out of the games and they ended 2-3. But it could have gone either way.
Game 3 saw the biggest cliffhanger. With tied with one location each I had a 5 influence stronghold that would have won me the game. Ironclad with only 9 income had deployed a +1 income action. He just with the last millisecond got the income 10 to deploy his stronghold and take the victory slowly (with counter sites killing my Maria's and whatnot). GG
A very fierce deck.
I personally dislike the scoring with assassins stronghold and the counter sites. They should get less influence. Winning by countering or deploying with surprise speed is too good.

Played last two games vs Rob. Last game he got the Abbaz Maria combo going. He won by a good move. Deploying Maria to kill Ezio Assasin and the blocked piri who would have made sure he didn't win that turn. Nice move.

Those were good games. You are very much right the whole thing could have gone either way except I think it was that second game where I just didn't seem to have any answer for you even though I didn't get a bad draw.
So far I think against everyone I have played it could have gone either way almost every game.
I think if this league has proved anything with out a doubt it's that Assasassin's Stronghold is incredibly strong, but I cant think of a way to nerf it with out making it useless.

True.
Easy. Make it influence 3. It should still be surprise and kill agents. It just shouldn't win games by being deployed for 1 1/2 day.

True. Easy. Make it influence 3. It should still be surprise and kill agents. It just shouldn't win games by being deployed for 1 1/2 day. I could see that. I win more games using at as a surprise Papal Influence then using it to kill agents.
