I wonder if they will pull resources from ACR or already have done so.

From my previous conversations with Marc, it seems he's not involved at all with this M&M game, however that's not to say that it has nothing to do with his team. But yeah it's looking pretty good, some cool mechanisms. It's however still all turn based which I don't really dig anymore

I wonder if they will pull resources from ACR or already have done so. No, i think The Assassin Creed brand and M&M brand is v different. and have different (and many) teams working on them. My educated guess is that the M&M team doing the TCG is not involved in M&M main game too - they are just focused on the tcg. (much like ACR)

God I love it, im playing it nonstop, since over a month. I love it in all extend, cept the beta bugs, and that there is no market yet *remember something?*
The balance on high rating is also quit good.

Rancord and Raphael, how does it compare to ACR? Much like Tuism, part of the appeal of ACR is it is a card game designed for ipad rather than a card came ported to ipad. Simultaneous play (main feature), changing card text, shared discard all make it fun to play a card game within an ipad.
Does M&M feel as at home as an electronic game?

Its totally different from ACR. I think its good as a electronic game.
Its a fantasy themed game with good artwork.

Well they could easily have a real cards game with this game with a couple of counters, so... Unless I missed something, there's not much to it to "be electronic" other than not having to keep track of a bunch of counters.

Well not a real problem per se, but just that I'm too pampered by real-timeness of ACR Must say the WRITING of the game is totally whack - the conversations between the guys between missions are HILARIOUS. I wonder if that's just cos it was Beta

From the article "The touch screen won’t be the only place you can play Duel of Champions, though. The game is also destined for PC’s, and will support cross-platform multiplayer, online tournaments, ". Where is this for ACR?
I also like the real time mechanics better I can't stand waiting for my opponent to play.

I thought only french can get beta key for M and M?
Anyways, My serious thoughts:
1. if it's a digi tcg, push the limits like ACR. Making it like a 'real' playable physical tcg is not a good idea. It's like how MTG tries to make their game digital. Sure, MTGO is a huge success but they are still being highly restricted in terms of game play.
Effects like real time, "shared graveyard", "Stealing cards from opponent's deck/hand", Whacky effects that can be done ingame cannot be done physically.(Players won't want others to handle their cards.)
Shadow era is trying to sell its physical cards but my guess (and experience) is that the physical game experience will not be as good as the digi one. The same way why MTG is much more enjoyable as a physical game rather than online. That's how the games are being designed.
ACR is, in my books, ground breaking, and super innovative as a digi TCG.

Open beta starts soon. On the other hand i like turn based, and shared grave @just not a single pile@ exists in normal tcgs as well.
All online tcgs take something from others and get their own stuff. Real time or not real time is no criteria for me. Here u have to few ppl for normal tcgs so i enjoy the online variants.
About the 3 TCGs: @assuming all features would be complete@
- Shadow Era is alot of fun and has fantastic artwork. Due to the highly restricted cardpool, the combinations are not that much, and especially human side win many games on curve war
- doc with the 7 spell classes let every hero be a complete different deck. Gameplay feels fresh. Artwork is awesome. Some mechanics are a bit boring though, wich is complete haven faction. The other 3 are awesome. 4th will join soon. Also due to hero abillity and events the complete top deck mode never happens (so good).
-ac recollection, no doubt most innoative with a non fantasy setting.awesome new idea that actually works. The system allows super screw start hands. Think modern tcg should prevent that. Combinations are rich and alot of themes. With the today update this is only to be better.
So atm i see improvement list as folow:
ACR: needs competitive MP and pc version. DOC: needsstandard features. (will happen, still beta) SE: badly needs content update (expansion around 2 months away)
