I had somebody drop the 2/2 worker class agent whom grants all his opponents memories defender on me. When that happened, my sites did not score & my agents did not score.
Upon seeing this, I thought I'd experiment with that same agent. I created a deck and added him to it. However when I use him on my opponents they still score?
I am confused with this ability and how the help section explains it. Can someone give me a deeper analysis on this? Thanks.

Defender scores when ure enemies score in the region is 0. As long as your enemy has score you lower his score.
Normal attackers score for you until u have 10 and then lower the enemy, defender work the other way round, they first lower enemy score to 0 and then any point that would go under 0 on the enemy score, is scored for u

Sorry Rancord I am bit confused with your explanation.
All I can make out from what you are saying is... if my opponents score is below zero - I receive points from there on out.
Ok... So how do I get those points? Because his campaigning is still going through. Even if the area he is campaigning on is zero he still gets the points.
To my assumption. The yellow arrow points down. By that, I register if my opponent campaigns with a 1/2 agent, I get that 1 point if the campaign area is at zero "Or" if there is points on there already, say, 5 points - then he should go down by -1. (Basically everything regarding campaigining my opponent does should be going backwards not forwards)
However that is not what is happening. He still gets the 1.

OK...
Suppose the opponent scores are
7 : 0 : 4 0 : 0 : 0
If you play a power 3 agent with defender on first region, the scores will be
4 : 0 : 4 0 : 0 : 0
But if you play the same power 3 agent on second region, then he scores for you as opponent doesn't have anything to lose, so the score becomes
7 : 0 : 4 0 : 3 : 0.
Makes sense?

If he has one point, it seems to block all the 3 points you would get, I have noticed with certain sites.

The situation you're talking about is a combo. He had both that guy that gives your stuff defender AND another agent that says "opponent's cards with defender cannot score above your score". He's a media agent, georgio costas or something.
Otherwise defender works like this: when the card scores, it will reduce your opponent's score until its zero, then it will score normally.

No it's not that, it's with sites man, where the sites with defender don't score for a day, even though they should.

Makes sense? Makes perfect sense. Great breakdown. To the rest... Thanks as well. @ Tuism. No combo. I am just using one guy. The guy I am speaking about is called "Maffeo Polo" from the worker class (gold group) he gives all of your "opponents" memories defender. Therefore they are not supposed to score when campaigning - agents and sites.

Therefore they are not supposed to score when campaigning - agents and sites. If he only had Maffeo, you should still be able to score or decrease the score of your opponent. If he had both Maffeo and Georgios Kostas, then you can't score if your opponent has no score. If your Sites didn't score at all and there's no Kostas on the board, did you see if he deployed Sofia Sartor? He may also have played A Hard Day's Ride which is a like a one-time Sofia.

If he:
1) Had ONLY Maffeo out 2) Has zero score on all his regions 3) And all your attacks did not score
then it's a bug. If you could reproduce then that'd be great. I've not ran into that situation at all though. So... We all basically assumed that there was one of those other stuff around that coolkendude mentioned that caused no scoring.
