well right now I've run into a couple of really strong combinations - deceptive is one, damn crime with Ezio and Strongholds is another (if it survives that long), then Femme Fatale is making a heck of a comeback... OMG. I suspect rush isn't dead (even not deceptive). Let's see how it pans out Femme Fatale completely falls apart if it runs into just one Losing Faith. I have yet to see a Femme Fatale deck with counters in it, although I'm sure that a few of them have SciEsp.

After spending some time with this patch I have to say the game has taken a huge step back. I don't like a lot of the card changes (I don't think the game needed to be slower, and I think the way these changes to improve 'pacing' have mainly just improved rush decks is indicative of a painful lack of play testing) but I can see why they did it and I'm working on new decks.
The real problem is the new matchmaking system. It takes at least twice as long to find an opponent. The search box randomly cancels itself all the time, and when it does you have to stare at the screen wondering what happened for 5 seconds because visually it finding a match and canceling itself look exactly the same. At least a quarter of my games get NOOS errors since the patch. I used to often play past my daily 500 just because I enjoyed the game. Now the interface has become so cumbersome that getting my daily 500 feels like a chore. Not to mention I need a scrap paper handy to see when I've finished. How could they replace the only important part of the results screen with a bar showing your gain of irrelevant leaderboard points, and showing nothing at all for the casual games? It's ridiculous.
I'm not making any dire proclamations about the end of ACR because I fully expect all this stuff to get fixed. But I also expect it to take a long time, and we are stuck with a worse game in the interim. Hopefully it will be a lesson for the next patch.

I'm afraid I fully agree with you!
I don't see why Ubi decided to nerf all the tutoring memories like By Order of the King. Every color has it, it only slows down a game that was otherwise fine.
I also do not like they have effectively split the player base in 2 (casual and competitive). Previously it took less then 10 seconds to connect. Now I mostly see "over two minutes", luckily connection is often a lot faster.

I can see the argument of removing income from tutoring cards. Before it had a double benefit. Steady income boost AND being able to select an agent. That is just to good now with income nerf. Now you more use a card for income or other benefit. This way you have to consider playing the card as it has a downside. Do I play it early to get the agent I want and get no income, or do I play income boosters first? I like that. Otherwise it would be 5 sure cards to bring into almost every deck.

Matchmaking has really gotten horrid. Might need to take another break from the game first until this gets fixed.
