Income boosting took a huge hit and I like that (it was way too easy...) Also ADD this: Ancestral discovery. Old: 5 cost +1 New 6 cost +0

Why didn't they just change political patronage to "gain 2" cause now it "gain 3" but it costs one. Lol lame nerf I think PP was fine as is... I'm ok with the nerf. PP is very, very powerful. Most of the nerfs seem designed to 1. eliminate high-speed huge combo decks... not sure if I completely agree with this batch of changes, but I've certainly been on the receiving end of $200+ sequences... oof. It was like bringing a cream pie to a gunfight, not even a knife. 2. rein in the counter-heavy environment. M:TG certainly went through its time where blue dominated the environment. Counterspells suck a lot of fun out of otherwise entertaining games, and I'm happy to see them take a hit.

Clothes make the man: costs 5 now. Good luck trying to copy anything. Wow, I thought for sure Copy decks would become competitive again in the new environment but increasing the cost of CMtM will not help. It will be interesting to see how players will deal with the new income rules.

San Gimignano is now 6 instead of 8 influence. You know, I was chatting with marc about how the cool discard decks were kicking ass and he said the nerfs wouldn't affect it much. Lol
