Being that I use Faith & Green pair heavily. It's difficult to get it up and going now. They've basically cut out the income boost that came with most of our spells. "Divine Intervention" "the stranger"
I keep running into the thief deck that steals/lessens all your income.
A player named Reddo which I have beat many times "literally" right before the update (don't know if he comes to these forums) but now he's killing me, lol. he has a excellent income decrease deck. I've ran into him twice already he's killing me with that deck.
Anybody know what's the best way for a Red/Green deck (not site focused) but discard and trickery. How can I best raise a good income base early to fend against this onslaught of income stealing decks now roaming about heavy?
Should I literally place in 5 income cards? I find them a waste of space, but this update made things pretty expensive and spell cards that use to provide income once resolved no longer do. Faith trade got hit hard with this update.

I would look at that basilica that replaces itself. If you get 2 of them and they don't have a counter for it, you can replace that thing and keep getting one back into your hand all game long.
Also, papal bull will give you +1 and kill the ability of that annoying thief that takes one of your income away every time he scores.

woe to you . 5 income cards how will you cope? Before the expansion came out I'd run with 5-10 dedicated income cards. I'm failing to see the problem.

The update certainly messes with the old "all my cards have to be useful cos I'm a l33t player" kind of deckbuilding mentality, and now forces you to really build in real income or suffer. I used to play a lot of these nice useful cards that also gave income, but that's because EVERYONE played those same cards in all the decks. I really enjoy that the lesser cards with income are now going to be meaningful choices even if they're "not as good". So, in short, get used to it basilica is actually still one of the best as a stack will get you infinite income. Knowledge is power was great, is still great.

I like being me. Your approach here sounds "personal" as if I disrespected your way of living. I don't do the back and forth arguing on the net my man - Elway (I'll pass). I rather we PM each other a place to meet in real life, then we can see, if face to face your approach to me will be the same. That said, you have nothing to apply it looks like other than being subjective which leads into arguments. From here on out I will just ignore you - unless, like I have said... Your "willing" to meet up. @ Kyless, Yea, I have 5 Papa Bulls. (Love that card) However, when I exhausted and papa bulled 4 of his guys, he (my opponent) eventually just ended up using that "evacuate" type card which sends everyones agents & sites back into they're players hands. Lol. The guy just has an impressive deck. I will eventually accommodate & build a deck to counter these things. I must admit though, I was highly impressed with how all the right cards happened to be in his hand at the right time. Great build Reddo has. @ Tuism, I guess I may have to look into incorporating some Basilica's in there. I was trying to keep the deck site free. I will get used to it no doubt. I must agree this update made the pacing less hectic in the beginning and more about setting up for weeks later. However, A lot of Faith's agents have lost they're income. And that is the class I use the most. It is what it is now. Time to rebuild. Agreed. Knowledge is power is a Classic. I am glad it was not touched. I wish "Bitter Sweet" had a cantrip ability like Repulse on magic.

For me it's not whether this guy or that guy has lost income - if you look across the board, all the commonly used cards with income - divine intervention, all the tutors, even sudden exhaustion, has had income removed. That means now people will have to really choose between building income to bigger cards or being on the attack with good offensive, cheaper cards. I like them forcing players to make that choice, cos we were seriously ALL playing the same cards in ALL the decks, were we not?

You basically reiterated everything I said but in your own words. Agreed. The game is way more strategic & tactful.

My income destruction deck is a huge gamble - when it works it works great, when the opponent gets out of it (with boosters and boosters), I typically get stuck twiddling my thumbs while they beat me down and I draw another 10 income booster/killers...

Wow. Yea that sucks. Lol. Destruction deck huh? I may have to build one of those some time.
Tuism, Do the devs still visit here? I was wondering if they provided a list with the current changes that were made to the memories.

They do, but I suspect they're too busy to provide a full list... And let's be honest, it's a REALLY long list. We got that other thread going that's hunting down all the changes, and to be honest I don't think that we need a list of changes... It's just... Too much. Better to just go and learn the game by playing I think

I played this deck last night a few times a faired well. It really depends on draw, I run a deck that's very effective with very little money. The trick I found was to get my key cards in play before he could bring my income to 0.

I'll just go find the thread where the community is hunting down the changes so I can read it at leisure. @ Martoq, You know, talking about "key" cards. I was close at one point to getting out my 2/4 always safe guy (forgot his name) however, that ended really quick once he dropped that card which has the art of a cannon. Knocked my main income source by -4. It was basically a wrap after that.

Your "willing" to meet up. Sorry if I gave offense. You made what I considered a trivial complaint. I responded in a flippant light hearted way. Exactly as I would have had we been face to face. I don't like arguing on the net either. I should have followed my usual instinct and simply deleted my post. As for your topic: I'm thankful all the powerful income cards have been nerfed. There is a 1 cost agent and site in every colour for providing income. I'd like to see them return to use. Some of them have impressive synergy with other cards in their colour.
