I've been reading through the different threads and the one thing that stands out is that Deceptive Rushes are really popular right now. And I'll have to agree because this is what I mostly use in the Competitive section and I'm probably getting a win rate of about 90% using this deck (thanks ironclad!).
So, let's see if we can collectively think of a way to stop these deceptive rush decks. One idea that I have is to use lurifaxb's Plebes deck - the Defender ability becomes a valuable tool in stopping these rushes, I think. Also, Cunning agents will probably make a comeback but if you're not Scholar or Crime, you can only rely on Federico which is a 5-cost gold Agent.
Any good ideas out there to stop Deceptive Rushes or at least slow it down enough so you can play your winners?

Can you use the one that stops your opponent scoring more than you, and the one that mKes all his memories lose surprise, then a few counters, and Juno?

Oh, right... the Maffeo / Kostas combo! You'll have to deploy them ASAP in order to stand a chance against the rush.

Sofia Sartor for the sites
Got 5 of them in 90% of my decks where i play agents.
For the deceptive guys, i deal with my agents to counter them

Anything with a couple of cheap agents and cheap sites can stop this deck. In fact I think that the original default sequence has a good chance against a deceptive rush. Just make sure you stop/kill the deceptive agents and cancel-out the deceptive sites influence for a while and finish it off with your more powerful memories.

Anything with a couple of cheap agents and cheap sites can stop this deck. The problem with this is that most players playing deceptive rush has Magnetic Personality in hand as well so blocking with cheap agents is actually to their advantage because most of the Fierce damage would go through. The cheap Sites are good stoppers vs. Deceptive sites, though.

I don't see deceptive being as strong as people say. It's pretty easy to stop unless the decks I faced we're bad.. They usually use advanced training which still leaves them with weak health.

Aye, Adv training appears a lot, I have started using it in my newly created Deception deck (First purple deck... mainly because of the oppinions of you guys that I made it)
Papal Bull can help to slow it.
I have came across one game today, that basically just thought '**** it, they need early game... so I will take it straight to mid-late game' NVNG and the type of boosters, then used the 'erase/neutralise Target agent' agents to clear the board of mine.
And dropping a Piri can stop Mag Personality.

And dropping a Piri can stop Mag Personality. If you have counters yeh, if not it just slows it a half day. I've been messing around with a deck that works around cunning agents for defense and a little site rush since everyone is playing agent rush with official, deceptive/fierce, threat and so on

The problem I see is that there are only a number of Agents with Cunning and is limited to Scholar for the most part. And unlike Unblockable, Fierce, Threat, and Safe, there is currently no card that can give an Agent the Cunning ability.

Doesn't help with Leo's Cunning taken away either (Although, it would not be an easy card to use in the first two days really hehe)

Nothing is op atm, till ppl realize how the new meta works My bad... I guess I should have said that Deceptive Rush is really popular right now (and rightly so because it wins most games). I'll edit my original post to reflect this.
