I know that the whole "keep the carousel open until you want to steal something" subject has been discussed before. I'm not posting to discuss that (although people certainly can if they wish).
I'm posting to ask a simple question: do we have any interest in keeping a public shame list of people who abuse this?
I only ask because my most recent opponent kept my carousel open for nearly a full day after launching Ritual Sacrifice, so it's a sore spot again and still fresh in my mind. I also had a game earlier today in which my opponent waited until I chose a site from Source of All Life before bothering to choose something to discard with Losing Faith (I guess my three existing cards weren't enticing enough).

Erm, nope. It serves no real purpose esp If those players do not come to this forum.
Sometimes there could be a real reason the carousel is open. The player needs an urgent pee, kids calling, wife's cockroach scream, realized something's cooking on the stove.
Ass holes will always exists in this world, unfortunately, we just have to live with it (them).

I understand the RL reasons, as I sometimes abandon a game in the middle to go do something, and sometimes when I'm searching my own sequence for a memory I've tutored, it can take me a bit. However, pee breaks and stove checks that happen to end just in time to steal the memory that I've just drawn or tutored are rather suspicious.

Well to be honest, it seems like that is now what's intended from the game designers, so if it's intended, then let's just get used to it. Until they decided to change it.
It's difficult to shout abuser at anything besides obvious bugs (Stronghold, Silvio), especially since the devs hasn't said "this is a bug".

Just as with any other game mechanic you have to deal with it. I remember I was really pissed-off the first time this happened to me, but now I use it as well. It's part of the game and if it really is broken it will be fixed in time. So you can put me on the the list if you want

Lotsa players deliberately stall/sneak/taunt in chess/poker and sports. It's unfortunate that it happens, my philosophy is simply to accept it and just keep it cool. Sometimes rules can only do so much....

It seems like it works as intended. Unless there is some reason to think it is an exploitable bug, I'd just pack more counters.

As we don't know for sure if it not just works as intended, you shouldn't call people which use a normal looking game mechanic abusers or ass holes!
I personally don't think that it is a bug, so I use it too. I see nothing wrong with it.

I called out an answer on this from developers during our league. No answer.
Until we know if it is WAI or a bug, we cant really do anything about it.
I personally think they should communicate design changes like this and if they don't, it shouldn't be a a design change but a bug.
Devs, let us know please!

Sorry kackman I am pretty sure that was me who did that to you the latest. My carousal got stuck from Nicco before that. But the reverse has also happened to me with my Nicco. I had nothing in my hand and it got stuck open until I drew a card and had to get rid of it.
But I am torn on this issue because it is annoying but when I played a lot of discard before the expansion I never used those cards because late in game it’s almost impossible to get a lock going. You can always play the card before I can steal it, making it almost a useless draw late game. I use it now just for the +1 income.

No worries, man - the Ritual Sacrifice wasn't you, and that was the one that bothered me the most.
