Hey guys!!! I just recently found this forum. Great forum! I don't have too many credits so I made a budget deck that can win more than 50%. I posted it below so you guys can comment on it!! It's deck that relies on card draw to win. Income generators - 10 2x Plentiful Crop 3x Den Defense 5x Sofia's Office Card drawings - 20 5x Ancient Map 5x Knowledge is Power 5x Militia Intimidation 5x Field Study Win cards - 6 3x San Gimignano 3x Assassin Library Counters and Cheap Guy - 12 5x Court Order 2x Mentor's Wake 5x Piri Reis Utility cards - 2 1x Manuel Palaiologos 1x Animus Reboot The win condition is to get sofia's office out early and then get piris reis out usually through militia intimidation. Then counter the opponent card and draw many cards with field study. Use animus reboot and manuel palailogos for more control. Win by playing san gimignano and then play assassin's library on top of it. What do you think??

Yes I think so! My connection was bad and it disconnected the first time I think.
What do you guys think of this deck in terms of POWER LEVEL? It is very fun in terms of fun level.

I despise any deck that combines Piri Reis with Court Order... (nothing personal though)

I despise any deck that combines Piri Reis with Court Order... (nothing personal though) I agree. But since you are new in the forum I won't hold it against you Welcome to the forum! Why not 5 den defense? Plentiful crop is just to slow these days. Can't say it is powerful as I don't play Piri with court order. I imagine it is though.

In early game I think plentiful crop is slightly better than den defense, allows you to get a 1-cost card out half a day earlier. Later on den defense is better because it doesn't take up your space, but by then you don't need the income as much, so it's a wash. 5 den defense would be fine. 5 plentiful crop is not

Powerful but looks a bit boring to me. Looses to an enemy Piri.

I think it looks strong. Also, I think court order is better than suleiman in your deck, since you don't need his body and you don't have a way of tutoring for him.
As for den defense vs plentiful crap, the only difference in terms of income (assuming no counters and no opposing piri) is a quarter of a day with 1 more gold available if you use plentiful crap. I'd say they're equal. However, they are definitely not equal on the market (but I can't figure out why!)

I think they are exactly equal as well (in terms of the amount of income the generate over a certain amount of time):
Notation: gold/max.income The "|" indicates just before and just after a memory resolves
Day: ___ 0 __________ 0,5 __________ 1 DD : 1/2 | 0/4 --- 2/4 | 2/4 --- 4/4 | PC : 1/2 | 1/2 --- 2/2 | 2/4 --- 4/4 |
I.e. the one gold you need to invest to play DD is returned in have a day (thanks to DD itself), where PC is free. Both give +2 income after half a day.
So I would argue that PC is better early game (as you can use the 1 gold for something else), but can be canceled. DD has surprise of course, so is better when you really need the income to play something big later (as it can't be canceled).

Biggest problems so far are enemy Piri, and enemy siterush/Ottoman gunman decks. Still thinking of what to do for these! I could deal with Piris by putting in more untimely end, but not sure what to do about site rush.

Papal Bull works well against Ottoman Gunmen as well, or as an after-the-fact way to shut down deceptive sites.

Good ideas! I'll try them out!
Lol, I'm running into the problem where almost my entire deck is made up of cantrips. I don't even know what to cut now. I got rid of the Manuel Palaiologos because he was a "win more" type of guy, but everything else seems mandatory to include.

Hey guys. Due to 25 out of 50 cards being nerfed this deck is no longer suitable for competitive play. About time too!
