Did they drop a brick on the server? Uplay connection is really useless these days. I long to roll back 2 updates to when everything worked. Seriously considering just deleting the app. I'd likely be happier. I know exactly what you mean. I can never seem to connect. When I can, it's after repeatedly logging into Uplay Same here! Really frustrating!

The new update fixed my connectivity issues, but if everyone else is still having problems I will end up having no one to play with. The market is still slow and the vs mode can take a little time to connect but so far I haven’t had the can’t connect to the opponent errors or any NOOS.

I had so many uplay issues I had to delete the app completely and then reinstall it. I then spent twenty minutes trying to play the game and got one matchup. I hate to say it, but I'm completely done until they move the game to a Shadow Era-style matchmaking system that's not dependent on Gamecenter. It seems like the game took ten steps backward with the next-to-last update and they've only recovered a couple of steps with this new update. I shudder to think of what's to come if the next update is the new expansion. Maybe they need to open up the game to PC users so there'd be greater access to, say, a test server where we can test out the update/expansion so we can find the bugs (a la Shadow Era as well). That way, they wouldn't release a bug-fixing update replete with its own host of bugs.
Again, all that being said, this game and its design need a serious about-face before I'm willing to devote any more time to it. Sadly, I think the lack of enthusiasm for the game is nowhere more evident than this site, where the number of posts about deck building and uses for cards has seen a severe drop off and bugs and complaints about the game are on the rise. I'll keep monitoring the site in the hopes that the game will someday be as well-run as this site that supports it is.

Well, after not playing for 2 months, I'm back again. I was finally able to do what I needed to on the market (slow, but at least it worked), and I've been able to do my daily grinding games. Hopefully it gets better though, because right now the future still does not look bright.

I then spent twenty minutes trying to play the game and got one matchup. It's strange. This weekend I had a lot of spare time and I have played about 200 matches. 200 matches in 12 hours = 4 minutes per match, waiting included. So at least for me it works just fine. (Market was completely dead, though - it was a first time when I couldn't spend my daily reward.) Were you playing in "Competitive" section or in "Casual" one? The latter seems to be completely abandoned, so one have to spend much more time in waiting for opponent. It was competitive. I played casual once when the update was first released, and never played it again.

The trick right now is to stay connected to Ubisoft at all cost. It takes forever and is not certain that you will connect after several tries. But once you have, the game runs really well... I haven't seen any NOOS or connecting to opponent error or game searches stopping in many many games. It is a smooth run now!
That is if you manage to connect at all. Often I give up and do something else.
They really need to fix the server connection issue...

You have to post the deck you’re playing with.

I'm sorry but this update is a shocker for me. I havent been able to play one single online match. The app is now less stable and i frequently get crashes on start up on an iphone 4. ...and the market place....ppsshtt. so fricken frustrating. how the duck can you put up an update that ruins it (well at least it looks like for half of us anyway).

In defense of a company I do not work for, and a game that I know has serious connectivity issues, I think there are 2 seperate things that effect the game: The stability of the app and the stability of the Ubisoft server. I don't think there is a lot wrong with the app at the moment, but there are serious issues with the server. This thing really needs a big-time update. I really don't know what they have done to it, but it's slow as dogsh!t.
When the game runs it's basically a peer-to-peer connection with the occasional sync with the server. The real problems occur the moment the app reconnects to the Ubisoft server.
Just my 50 cents...

There are connections all ofer the place. Ok let's play this game, but first: Connection to uplay Connection to game centre P2P connection setup that uses nat punching.
If any one of these fail then it's game over. I mean it's like 3 separate points of failure!
