So there I was, just derping around on my iPod and I wondered... If Malfatto is used on a Virtual Militant, what would happen? And if it goes into your hand as a 0 cost agent, then could you power up your militant-based deck? Or would the agent go into the archive, like I believe it would?

The virtual agent gets killed. It is not a card more a token so he can't go to the hand.

And... he's not archived or erased. Simply removed from the game all together.

Since the card used to make him is in the discard pile, he simply vanishes.

Someone turned an agent of mine into a 1/1 Militant with no ability, and using Malfatto on him returned him to my hand as the original agent.
I realize this is different than the Call to Action militant, but thought I'd share.

Fun fact, if you use Catarina Sforza to copy an Altair, Learned and that Altair gets neutralized, it does go back into your hand as per Altair, but it turns back into Catarina. Catarina, Learned.

Mind = Blown Alright, thanks. Me: Catarina, Learned? WTF? I'm not sure how that works out, but...
