So, the last days I've meet this one person who quick fires a doomsday and then deploys a forgotten temple you can't stop without cards in hand, then you get his deck full of income boosters and draw. He had done that 2 times against me, and although it did give some respect for originality, those types of games are not what I would call very fun.
So I built a deck specifically for him to fool him. All draw and income and nothing that could win the game. I met him today and sure enough he did the same.
I laughed out manically as he was shooting through my deck and realizing there was nothing there. I sat down the iPad and did something else. 30 minutes later the game ended in a draw. He had waited 25+ turns for me to run out of cards. I got some pleasure in thinking about his reaction when he got the same surprise he served others.
FYI, a draw gets you 2 points...

I finally added a couple Doomsdays to my collection and added them to my FT deck. Remind me to play something else when I see you next.

It was epic. 30 minutes of smiling and giggling like a little boy when I thought about what his reaction was.

Lol. I played him again. Thought he might have changed deck and learned, but Istuck to my harassment deck just in case. Sure enough... Doomsday. This time I copied his doomsday and threw it back in his face. Then I left and only came back once in a while. I had emptied my deck by drawing all cards before I left. Then He slowly wait until he gets cards but careful he doesn't draw the last card. He plays one forgotten temple. Waits 5 turns. Win that location and plays one more. Waits another 5 turns and wins. Most have taken him 10-15 minutes. In the mean while I've tucked in my daughter for her noon nap and went for a stroll with her in the trolley. Turns out he has at least 2 FT Still, I don't mind losing when I know that he is stalled for that long. Next version. I'll include some anti site cards Lol. What a battle of lamoids If I don't have the time for a lamoid battle I'll play a deck with a fast losing faith.

And we meet again for a second time today. He had learned and played a deceptive rush this time. But I had also switched (maybe he read my last post). I played a Cyril deck with losing faith. He stalls and gets income built up. Down comes 2/2 deceptive agent. 2-3 buffing effects like magnetic personality 9/5 I think he was. BUT my Cyril is about 5/5 thanks to gardener and losing faith goes down I block with Cyril since I can see where he is going (on big whopping deceptive agent that wins the game right there). I remove his magnetic personality from deck and play my own magnetic personality (he was already deceptive from earlier card) and I win big. Cyril was like 13/13. He quits. 1-2 minutes game. Fastest game we have ever played. At least it was a fight and not 2x solitude. GG my nemesis. You got some respect points for at least playing a deceptive rush instead of doomsday and forgotten temple.

Dude had something like 3-4 Forgotten Temples in his deck, and once he saw me put my FT down, he put two of his down in two other regions, presumably hoping for the win. Unfortunately for him, I run with Animus Reboots in my FT deck, so that didn't work out. That game was the second stalemate I had yesterday with my FT deck. Luckily for me, I almost always am doing something else while I play AC:R so I don't care if the game takes forever because I'm not paying attention anyway.

Jesus. A lamoid wannabe just pulled the doomsday/forgotten temple on me. He failed miserably when he got one of his doomsday back in his face thanks to sci ESP. Unfortunately I learned that using secret catacombs does not stop the forgotten temple from going on. FAIL. Luckily I could squeeze out the win with the few useful cards I had in hand before FT. I guess I am target with these reports

RealSeth. He pulled that stunt with me but I had incite revolts and managed to keep the game alive long enough to return the favor. It was awesome. By the end of it, our decks were so blended together that my knowledge of the strategy my deck uses gave me the win over him trying to figure it out on the fly and he bailed.
