Wow, guys, this came as a bit of a shock. As I've been really busy the past few weeks I haven't visited the forum for some time, nor did I play the game. And now that I'm back everyone is talking about THE END!  Is it just the fact that Hurdler has left the building (as a dev at least  ) or is there more to it? Maybe we'll just have to move from random-opponent-matches towards battling our Game Center friend list more often. Would be quite helpful to have a "comprehensive list of all players still playing ACR" or something. I refuse to belief that everyone has gone to the Rapture... yet. |

Yeah I think the biggest issue now is that the competitive nature of the thing is non-existent. Noone cares about these competitive rankings, and official isn't driving any real competition, which is unfortunate.

The forum is dead because the game is dead. Server issues make it impossible to play, so no one bothers.

I've been getting on nearly as good as it was when it started, so I dunno if anyone else is still having server problems. Also Marc said servers should have been moved, but hey I dunno if that's been done or not.
But the problem is that people who's stopped bothering don't know/don't care to get back to it.

I haven't been able to play more than 4 or 5 games a day in weeks. The last 2 days I can't log on to Uplay at all.

Maybe it is a bit better, but not perfect. Still occasional problems with login for longer periods. Competitive structure still a joke - no bonus matches. Market is not a fluent experience.

I've started a collection of NOOS screenshots again. I get NOOS errors even when the effects of Magnetic Personality wear off...
Somehow I got 15 bonus games, but finished like only 5 in a normal way yesterday.

NOOS are back in style in periods it seems.
I really don't get why the bonus games is so fluky.
I'm glad I don't care about rank and competitive play anymore, but if I did and I just won 200 games to take first place, I would be very frustrated to see someone overtake me because they got bonus games and I didn't. So stupid. Kills any competitive drive.

Servers b dead. Haven't been able to log onto Uplay for about a day. Before that they were merely awful for the last week. Basically the game is broken now until they release an update. Not sure it's profitable for them to do so...

For me the game hasn't improved at all since they have changed the server. But I keep trying... |

I don't play ACR about a month beacouse it is very boring. My deck wins 90% matches. Then i lose to deceptive rush with good hand, i don't want to tune my deck... it's just bad luck. So i have no incentive to play. Another my decks don't interesting at all.
each day i trade on market, but server connections still very very bad. It is very annoying.
But i still belive in ACR. I'm waiting for new matchmaking system and for tourneys.
And i still belive that they solve the server connection problem, if they can't do this i don't see any perspective to this game.

Yeah it's all about the competitive play now... If they can organize it properly it has lots of legs. Otherwise it becomes a bit pointless.
I think this is a good case study for competitive games like this - sure the ability to play people at any time is great, but if that's all you give people it quickly loses context and you end up burnt out.
Like, right now I really wanna play someone at netrunner, I got cards but no one to play, but if I could play it online anytime like ACR, I imagine soon it'll get old if there's not some kind of competitive structure or constant new content.

Hi everyone! I'm really not active in this forum, so sorry. I have played with almost everyone here already in one way or another, and I have been playing this game since the time of borgia art and thieves. During the start of the 2nd ranking, I stopped playing because I really don't feel the support from the devs. Actually, a simple reward system from playing competitive such as 20 free packs for the top 100 players or so would motivate me to play especially for guys like me who don't shell out money and want to complete a set of each card. The frequent noos and failure to connect have been really disheartening, especially when accessing the market. I do hope the devs can come up with an update soon to remedy the current state of the game...
