Hey all! I'm just wondering who is playing ACIII, and more specifically, who is playing it on the 360.
I've been messing around with the multiplayer so far, and there are a few new features in this one. One of them is the fact that you get bonus animus credits for you and your friends achieving various total score thresholds in six different multiplayer gametypes.
I mention this feature mostly because I'm looking to add people to my friends list for these bonuses (obviously, it's more helpful if you're actually playing multiplayer).
To that end, if we don't mind sharing our XBox Live tags and friending each other, we can all help each other make some progress in multiplayer even if we never get the chance to actually play together.
My gamertag is ForbiddenJobu - feel free to send a friend request.
(Another new multiplayer feature: a mode called Wolfpack, in which you're working together to kill NPC targets. You have a time limit, and to get more time you need to accumulate enough points via kills to advance to the next "sequence". Interestingly, you can play this mode by yourself - I've found this to be much easier, actually, as I can take the time to get high-point kills and beat the map rather than watch a couple noobs sprint around picking up 100 point kills and causing us to fail 1/3 of the way through.)

I have an Xbox but I only use it to watch movies on it via lovefilm or sometimes(rarely) do the kinect thing with a group of friends where you dance. I was undecided about games on it because there is no keyboard and mouse. I downloaded a demo of something I think it was mirrors edge where you had to run around rooftops aka parkour style. I found using the Xbox controller hard to use, and decided not to use the console to play games. 2d scrollers were ok like limbo, and I tried a demo of sonic 1 to see what that was like. They just use the arrow pad, but the stick thing you have to use on the controller for more complicated games did not translate the same as a mouse as I am used to, and I didn't see the benefit of learning a new method when I could play these games on a PC anyway. To be honest, I don't really understand why you cannot use a mouse with the Xbox anyway since it would be trivial for them to support it.
